Pray for Franklin Graham in Manchester this weekend

[Pearl]

Franklin Graham will be in Manchester on October 3 as part of his "God Loves You Tour." This event will take place at the Co-op Live arena and is expected to draw thousands of attendees. Admission is free, and no advance tickets are required.

This venue holds between 20,500 and 23,500 and 600 churches in the Manchester area have been involved in preparing for this outreach through prayer and other ways.

Please join me in praying that the Holy Spirit sweeps through Manchester in mighty power and that the word of God reaches the people and causes them to repent, be born again and follow Jesus.

I’m in Manchester, England, and looking forward to preaching the Gospel at The Co-op Live on Saturday. Michael W. Smith, Charity Gayle, Dennis Agajanian, The Tommy Coomes Band, and Faith Child will be there to share their great music. Christians from 642 churches have been involved in preparing and praying for this event. It is free, and everyone is welcome. I want the people of Manchester to know that God loves them and has a plan for their lives!

Praying for this. That the gospel goes out clear and bold tomorrow and hearts are ready to hear it. God bless everyone going and everyone serving behind the scenes.

It's wonderful to hear this. I'm having trouble with emojis today so couldn't give any to your posts.

Does Manchester have a lot of Muslims like Birmingham?

Shine, Jesus, shine, fill this place with the Father's glory
Blaze, Spirit, blaze, set their hearts on fire
Flow, river, flow, flood this city with grace and mercy
Send forth Your word, Lord, and let there be light

My prayer for Manchester tonight.

@Pearl Thanks for posting the photos of Manchester and your prayer.

I served God in the Billy Graham crusade in the 90's. It's a big undertaking and requires many volunteers. I was on the staff and visited all the churches in the area to invite all to come. It will be an great turnout. Go' if you've never been to a crusade. The congregation sings and the performers are A+ entertainers. Be prepared to sing my God is an Awesome God. There isn't a dull moment. Preaching lasts about 30 minutes at the max, because the invitation at the end takes a long time for ministers to talk to every one.

Franklin Graham's response on Facebook this morning

"We had a great night at the Co-op Live arena, with 10,000+ people coming to hear the Gospel. I told the crowd that we each have a date with death—we’re all going to have to stand before God, and we have all sinned and fallen short. We praise God that hundreds of people responded to the invitation to repent—which means to turn from their sins—and receive Jesus Christ by faith. Join me in praying for all those who made decisions for Christ, that they will grow in their walk with the Lord and find a Bible-preaching church to attend."
