Prince Phillip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II, Duke of Edinburgh died today, at the ripe old age of 99.

Pray for the Royal Family, pray especially for the Queen, as she goes through these sad times, that God may comfort her.

I must admit many of us here in the U.K. are feeling a collective sadness for The loss of Prince Phillip. It is the end of an era in many ways..........I have been quite surprised by the sadness I feel.
The Queen and Phillip were married for 70years.

I have been praying for the Queen on and off all day. My heart goes out to her. I felt so sad when I saw the news online this morning. He was a special man and greatly loved by us Brits. He will be missed. Somebody on TV today said that just as we think of Victoria and Albert together so to in the coming years people we speak of Elizabeth and Philip.

I liked Philip, he was valued as a person, I loved what he would say outright because such as he said was true. that's so refreshing in a world that is bound up in promoting being stuck up and hell bent on promoting dribble.
