This Porn Expo is one of the Largest Festivals….its in Las Vagus at the end of this month.
There will be hundreds and hundreds of booths and stalls. And many thousands attend this every year. A wide open field.

A team of 15 are going in there, so I'm asking here for prayer coverage for them and for them to find prepared and open hearts to sow their love seeds into.

As we know, attending this place is walking right into Satan’s territory as they drop God's ‘seeds’ and drip love on some of these sad girls, some very very young.

The last festival that my daughter ( 55) was a part of she said how sad some of these little girls looked...it makes a person want to cry.

These souls are there to sell their little 'home made' video’s…while other ‘professional' porn stars arrive in Limo's and 'strut their stuff' looking like they are Hollywood film stars.
Obviously all the Pimps can be nasty and aggressive…not wanting their “property” to be spoken to.

The first time my daughter went with this Mission Team they were told by the team leader..”Okay, I will give you five minutes to be totally shocked at what you are going to see and experience....then get your chins off the ground and get to work. Our time is short.”

This team, like everyone else attending the Expo, pays for a Booth, and work from their booth. (They actually give away bracelets to the guys and girls…with things engraved upon then like- “Born with a purpose” and such like…..NOT scriptures) ..the idea being that the person will ask questions from the team when choosing a bracelet.
Also they walk around amongst the crowd giving away the bracelets ...and talking to the sellers ( of sex toys videos etc) at the other booths.

The team do not dress up, they dress very ‘down’…neither do they ever quote scripture. They speak from the heart and let the "Christ within" do all the talking. (He does it better than we do, and already knows the heart and needs of the person, we do not!) At first my daughter found this very hard..because 'by habit' scripture just pops automatically into the mind,as we have been taught! But she soon saw the fruit of allowing GOD to do the talking. :) ( Christianese is not the language that the porn industry is familiar with!! :) (As @Miss Hepburn would say. )

That is interesting. Does the Porn industry know who will be manning the booth? I am surprised they would allow it. I will pray for your family, concerning this, at this time.

Sometimes an overt witness is not what is needed. A secretive method is useful also. Take Christian tracts, drop them on the floor in front of said booths. By 'accident' of course. Go to restaurants in the area, place Christian tracts in the napkin holder. How? Pull out several napkins, place a tract, and then place the napkins back to hide them. My daughter has not been to this one in L.V. before, but the Team Leader goes every year with a team, so is an old hand at it.
I know the way this lady and her husband conduct their outreach is different from others. They have been in evangelism for many many years.
The old 'traditional ways' does not work in the Porn Industry or it's people.
Obviously other Christian Stall are there too...many give out tracts in the old way, they are either thrown down on the floor, or refused.
But, this way works...some cry when these bracelets are on their wrists..
some don't even have to be told that it is a Christian booth, they say they can 'feel it'.. Some of them are even backslidden or disillusioned Christians.

This team put a lot of value in 'touch'...they try to gently touch all those they speak to... as we know, the Holy Spirit can be 'felt' even by the unsaved ... God's love can be felt.

This team get results, the old tracts and " do you know Jesus" way does not work in that environment. As in regular fishing...you must hook 'em first before you can talk to them...you'd be amazed and probably shocked at how they do it... if they get no takers hooked, then a couple of the team will wander over to a inactive porn booth and just start talking , talking about anything,
..even asking such things as asking- " What on earth is that thing used for?"
Hook them in a conversation first, then you can reel them in..not just throwing the gospel at them feeling like you had "done your Christian bit" .. ...but by really connecting and caring for them.
Because the 'environmental atmosphere' is so disgusting ....much prayer- covering for the team is needed.

I have been watching this thread, not knowing what to say. These girls are groomed, and then broken. Most would not leave even if given the opportunity of freedom because they have been indoctrinated to believe they have no value. Men are victims too, but I haven't lived or walked in that perspective so I can't speak on it. My husband asked me the other day; having two daughters, no sons... he asked how a woman can come to a place where she feels she deserves to be treated in this manner? For me, it has been an error passed down from generation to generation that women are property and should remain silent. When you believe you hold no real significance to God, what else is there? What else matters? When you are convinced even God is your foe...you are left sad and lonely and broken and never good enough for anything other than "being owned" or "approved of" by a man. To be convinced God looks upon you as a weak vessel, leaves you... disposable. I just really pray these women could see being the "weak vessel" is a honorable thing. When we are weak... HE is strong.

These team leaders have indeed found girls who do and are ready to get out. So it is far from hopeless and gloomy ...when God is at work on their hearts He prepares the ground for whatever little seeds are dropped into them.
He even uses silly little bracelets with loving or encouraging words on them to make that 'first' important 'contact.' :)
