I'd say to them "I'll pray for you but only to ask God to cure you of your perversion"..:)

He is also kind compassionate and merciful and I would never call somebody a pervert to their face. No wonder people who need Jesus are put off by Christians.

So, pray she gets "cured" and becomes a heterosexual unbeliever or maybe a celibate unbeliever and still remains just as lost as ever? What good is that?

We should always bring our concerns to our heavenly father, regardless of whether someone wants prayer or not. If someone says "no" then do it anyway, since that person is on YOUR heart, and since prayer is one of the ways we give expression to righteous sentiments.
You said that a lot better than I did. :)

Wishy-washy hand-wringing wimpy christians are more like to put them off, rather than a straight-talking Christian who doesn't pull his/her punches..:)
1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

Ah, but perhaps they'll be so glad that they're cured they'll sing the praises of God..:)

They con't want to be 'cured' though and you can't and shouldn't force your own views on anybody. If God wan'ts people to see the light they will see it but in his timing not ours.

That's not what your earlier post said.

If they ASKED me why I wouldn't pray for them I wouldn't try to fob them off with a lukewarm answer, I'd HAVE to tell them the truth, namely "because you're a pervert in God's eyes, but you can always pray direct to him yourself instead of asking me to be a go-between"..:)

A bit like Pilate then.

It went like this-
PILATE - "I find Jesus not guilty, I wash my hands of him and this whole affair"
PRIESTS - "Whoa mate, he implied he was a King, so that makes him guilty of treason against your Caesar who's the only true king. If you let a traitor off it'll look bad on your military record and you'll end up slopping out the latrines in the Colosseum"
PILATE - "Hmm yes, okay I'd better sign the death warrant to cover my ass"

"And Pilate said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.
And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.
And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required" (Luke 23:22-24)

It might work better if you reversed the step sequence. Tell her that God loves her enough to have sent His Son to die for her, and if she will follow Him, it'll change her life. And then pray that God draws her to Jesus. After that, then He can clean her up. He's pretty good at that.
