So a dear family friend of ours came over today with her adorable 4yo daughter. We chatted and had a nice time. At the end of our meeting I met her outside and asked her how she feels about her son going to church programs. She said she's fine with it. I asked her if she believed in God. She said she did. However, when I asked if she would like to know more about God she said, more or less, that she was "good." I presented a small Gospel of John NLT to her and asked her if she wouldn't mind reading it. She seemed receptive.
Can we all just pray that she read it through and that she becomes thirsty for God and interested in the faith? I would love to do whatever I can to facilitate her introduction to Christianity and if she came back to me with questions that would be a great first step. I was planning on giving her that Gospel of John for a couple weeks in advance, so I'm glad I got to give it to her. Prayers are appreciated (mandated) in this thread! Please pray for Jolene.
