I might need more prayers for patience. I have thrown away 90% of everything I owned and now I'm getting my bag ready. Down to two pairs of clothes for each person (because I'll get more when I get there, can't take much with) but having to throw away my handmade items has got me fuming a bit.

(Actually, I was down on my knees pulling weeds out from under the Redbud tree, and you know we old guys say - while already I’m down here, what else can I get done? )

Fluffy, it is time that you started to praise God for His help in your preparation to travel across the USA to a new place. He has helped you to let go of what has been "precious" to you and to become more dependant on Him. Start thanking Him now for the Help and Guidance that He has been and will be on your journey and during the time of establishing yourself and family in a new location. May this experience of travelling, trusting in the Lord, bear much fruit in your life as you become a blessing in the lives of those who you will rub shoulders with in your new place where you will send down roots in God's fertile field of blessings, as you continue to grow in Christ.
