Im going to just let Rowan Dean speak here...

I utter his very words, with less aggression.
I've never seen this man so fired up before and i can understand why.

He makes some excellent points.
Now there is going to be a spike in corona cases and deaths, many will be linked to protesters.
In that case that blood is on the hands of our state premiers and courts.

If there is not spike then it will expose the fact that covid was overblow in the first place and all the damage from the lockdown will be in their hands

Either way our state premiers are about to get exposed I think. It should be similar in the USA too. If covid is really as bad as they've made it out to be bad then people will start dying

It’s the same in the UK - it was George Floyd that triggered the protests here, but we do equally have racist issues in certain areas- not to the same degree , but it’s never really gone away completely.
I believe the protests got out of hand on London.
Like you Cristo, I have concerns about the virus spiking as a result of so many people coming together around the country. We have only just lifted part of the lockdown. I feel for those who are vulnerable and are still in isolation, so eager to get back to some normality. If it spikes again ,that will affect them for longer.
If it doesn’t, then it will prove something else....

Was Australia triggered by George Floyd, or did they have their own questionable incident...?

No questionable incident, no systemic racism, just virtue signalling lefties that were just last week calling us murderers if we drove our cars or played golf or went fishing

They are talking about "systemic racism" the belief that systems in society are intentionally oppressing a certain group of people.
Is that happening in the UK? I know there is a recent Islam thing going on in the last few years...
Did Scotland yard hide the facts the Islamic men were grooming and molesting girls?

If it spikes again ,that will affect them for longer.
If it doesn’t, then it will prove something else

I think that is the bottom line here, its a fork in the road.
One way is a spike in cases and deaths from these protests......
The other way is not much changes, so then why have we been......

I remember ‘ Skippy the bush kangaroo ‘ - one of my favourites from childhood !! Lol
Yes, we have pockets of racism that is aimed at different groups. The black racism was a generational thing - my dad is racist, bur he is also sexist ( only really noticed it since he has been older and lost his filter when he speaks. ) I never really picked up on either as I was growing up.
To be honest all of us have been part of groups that looked down on other groups - I mean at school, it would be one school against another, In school it was the ordinary against the those who were really clever. Within society it’s those who are wealthy against those who are poor ect ( and that’s nothing to do with colour or race ) So then it moves to communities, cultures ect.
My son would say it is a natural human response from our ancestors ( believes in evolution ). A tribal thing ,or within a tribe - survival or rivalry.
Sorry I think I may have digressed a little bit !

While they're may not be systemic racism in Australia, in some states there are s lot of people who are racist and have bad attitudes... Particular with regards Aborigines. And there's a lot of history there and it isn't pretty. But it also extends to coloured (mostly brown) folk from overseas such as Pacific Islanders... Samoan, cCook islands, Fiji etc as well as Maori from NZ. I'm white, but my children are ever so slightly brown, but all have experienced some bad attitudes from store assistants etc... But different states have different levels of attitude. Here in Victoria seems fine, but Western Australia a different story.
There are activist groups talking advantage of the situation, particularly Aboriginal rights groups (and I don't particularly blame them) but as in all the world, there is fault on both sides. Only God can sort out the mess which is what we are all waiting for Amen? Come Lord Jesus. One truth we can I think safely hold on to to keep ourselves in balance. We are all a mess. As tribes, Nations, tongues, and individuals... We are a mess. None of us I think are much more than a few steps away from out of control.

BLM has worldwide tentacles. Which means that there is serious funding behind this. But none of the law enforcement agencies around the world have joined together to seriously investigate this menace. You could replace "George Floyd" with "George Soros" and you would not be far off.

Possibly a spike, as Australia hasn't been badly hit by it, I hope they realized though before they protested, that people don't really want a 2nd lock down.

Also the 400 dying in custody, I don't know of any caused by police brutality, they are mainly caused by drug overdoses, getting bashed by other inmates some how, suicides. And the way less known fact is a lot of them die from witchdoctors leaving feathers outside of their cells and throwing curses on them, young aboriginals die of fear as a result.

So yeah, many of the cases of death in custody are different to USA pretty much. Yet not many who protest know the facts behind the deaths of aboriginals in custody.

Careful now, you've posted a scripture quote here that actually points out sin. You'll have folk here accusing you of being a legalist... Promoting a works based salvation... Using obedience to the law of God or His commandments as a means to impress God. We cannot be like Paul and call out sin. Uh uh.

Where, not in Melbourne, not west side suburbia. It a beautiful melting pot of cultures here.
Have u ever know a full abo? Iv know part abos but there isnt full abos here. As far as history goes that was centuries ago, no one can change it. And in comparison to other native people the Polynesians and Aboriginals got treated the best, there was no slave trade here. John batman negotiated with the local tribe to buy Melbourne, there is no blood on this soil here

But it also extends to coloured (mostly brown) folk from overseas such as Pacific Islanders... Samoan, cCook islands, Fiji etc as well as Maori from NZ

No way broooo... Now iv known and worked with heaps of Polynesians.
There are 3 or 4 families living the the house across the road. I have a huge respect for them gentle giants.
I've always got along with them. And i've never heard complaints from them either about racism

But different states have different levels of attitude. Here in Victoria seems fine, but Western Australia a different story

Ok that explains it. Ye in Vic i don't see any racism systematic or personal. I didn't know about WA and that...

Enoch cracked me up with this and i was reminded of Skippy the bush kangaroo... He should be our prime minister...
He is smarter than all our politicians combined.
He does everything, catches bad guys, saves his mates, he understands English, he can operate vehicles and build rockets

Ahahaha e can even understand Italian mate what a classic. He gambles on the horses.
He delivers important orders and makes countless revelations, he picks locks and unties knots and neutralizes the enemy all the time...
And he gives baby koala a ride as well

I nominate Skippy to be a candidate for the next federal election
