Well they are sham elections and will not be recognized by most of the world.

Sanctions will continue to destroy the Russian economy. russia has no legal authority to hold a referendum in Ukraine sovereign territory. That would be like the Ukraine capturing teh western most part of Russia and holding a referendum and the sham election saying the people want to be part of Ukraine.

If you bewlieve Russia holds honest elections- you are more gullible than thought.
