Yep, He does for me! You come too late bud to tell me God is a liar and does not honor His Word.

Proverbs 4:20-23 (see John 8:51, Proverbs 5:1,2, James 1:22… Most Christians don’t do this – BIG MISTAKE!)
Attend to My words; incline your ear unto My sayings....let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart....for they are life unto those that find them, and HEALTH TO ALL THEIR FLESH....keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it flow the forces of life.

You should take a gander at the "HEALTH TO ALL THEIR FLESH" part there homie.

They had all the advantage.

Yeah, that's what the devil used to tell me too.

Then I found out I have the same Holy Spirit they had and the Lord desires for me to know what they know

Jesus said the Holy Ghost would lead us in to ALL Truth (John 16:13),
and Jesus said God's Word IS Truth (John 17:17)

1 Corinthians 2:12
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Feel free to live a day late and a dollar short.
The devil enjoys that sort of thing as it makes his job deceiving people easier laughing.gif

Oh mine, such fanatical extremism from the start. Always a sign of a good rational discussion coming.

Do you know what the term "proverb" means? And can you understand the difference between a proverb and a promise? Also, do you understand who is the author of that proverb?

Proverb: a short, traditional saying that expresses a general truth or piece of practical advice (e.g., "Actions speak louder than words").

Promise: a declaration or commitment by someone to do (or not do) something in the future (e.g., "I promise I'll help you tomorrow").

Not a command for the entire Body of Christ. And obviously Timothy did not follow God's promises for healing.

Either Timothy is in error or God lied about His will for His people to have a way to be well thru His power.
I'll stick with Timothy being in error.

I will stick you are in error :Broadly:

I remember the first wave of covid-19, people were told to keep distance. Many churches did not follow the advice and kept coming together on Sunday because the Lord would protect them. I admired their faith. And yet dozens of people died in these churches.

It's like people playing with fire in a haystack trusting the Lord will keep them safe.

Nonsense. There were no waves of covid. You gave into the propaganda, and not surprisingly billions of others also went along with you.

I never wore a mask, followed their ridiculous and often contradictory instructions, took their tests, or let them inject me with their poison. And I stayed as healthy as a horse the entire time.

How did I survive this deadly plague? Simple. I threw my TV in the trash not long after meeting Christ. I trust Christ for my health, not sorcerers.

Doctors have their place. I suppose if I suffered some severe trauma I might reach out to one, but it would be an extreme circumstance of last resort. And that's how you stay healthy. Eat right, think right, sweat regularly, and most of all, trust Christ. Avoid doctors at all cost, and don't believe anything the government, media, or big pharma tell you.

How many times does the word of God tell us to "fear not"? Will the fearful and unbelieving be in heaven? For everyone who made fear based decisions during the scamdemic, if you were foolish enough to take their shot, repent. Perhaps God will be merciful to you. But first you will have to admit that you've been played, not an easy thing to do in these last days of great deception.

Oh mine, such fanatical extremism from the start.

Well then, enjoy thy sickness and disease then.

The Lord won't be bothering you with health and healing seeing you reject His Word on the topic.

Proverb: a short, traditional saying that expresses a general truth or piece of practical advice (e.g., "Actions speak louder than words").

Promise: a declaration or commitment by someone to do (or not do) something in the future (e.g., "I promise I'll help you tomorrow").

Excellent summary in how you allowed the devil to convince you that portions of God's Word aren't true.

You will reap what you sow homie. Enjoy!

If you break your leg, don't put the Lord your God to the test, but go the hospital.

Right so you think the Lord is powerless and otherwise unwilling to provide healing for His people. Got it.

I will stick you are in error

I'll stick with anybody to claims God's Word is not true and God is not watching over His Word to perform it as He said... is listening to the devil.

And yet dozens of people died in these churches.

That's because they didn't know what they were doing and were not skilled in the Word of Righteousness

I'll never forget it... I started getting covid symptoms one afternoon and within about any hour all symptoms were gone because it was of the devil and I know how to make the devil flee from me based on God's instructions in His Word!

The Lord and I had a shouting good time that afternoon as I took the Sword of the Spirit (God's Word, our OFFENSIVE weapon) and together we cut the devil up badly to the point he left quickly!
James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

These people you speak of were submitting to the religion of their denomination and submitting to conservative political talking points... not submitting to the Lord. Of course being conservative is better than being a baby killing liberal pervert but it's no where near as good as walking with the Lord.

The definition of resisting the devil is submitting one's self to the Lord which is walk in the Spirit.

Most people don't know anything about this because they have been taught false doctrine - carnal minded man made religion instead of God's Word

It's like people playing with fire in a haystack trusting the Lord will keep them safe.

The Lord doesn't keep people who are ignorant of His Word safe.

God said His people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6) and where there is no vision / understanding the people perish (Proverbs 29:18)

I never wore a mask, followed their ridiculous and often contradictory instructions, took their tests, or let them inject me with their poison. And I stayed as healthy as a horse the entire time.

Same here.

It's far better to look at things from God's point of view based on His Word than seeing things from man's point of view which is listening to the devil.

Let's both agree with the Lord that He is fully capable of providing the power and wisdom for us to take our own health in to our hands under His guidance and leadership and the end result is we are well spirit, soul, and body. It's our Father's great pleasure to give us the Kingdom (Luke 12:32) this includes Himself and all He has to offer!

1 Thessalonians 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Isaiah 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

And let's not forget to meditate, speak, and act on on Psalms 91 View attachment 80425

Psalms 91:1-16 (see Luke 10:19, 1 John 2:6, James 4:7)
He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty....I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust....surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler (devil), and from the noisome pestilence (wicked and perverse plagues)....He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you shall trust: His truth (God’s Word) shall be your shield and buckler....you shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day....nor for the pestilence (plague, disease) that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday....a thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you....only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked....because you have made the LORD, which is My refuge, even the most High, your habitation....there shall no evil come near you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling....for He shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways....they shall bear (help, hold up) you up in their hands, lest you stumble your foot against a stone....you shall tread upon the lion and adder (the twisted): the young lion and the dragon (serpent) you shall trample under foot....because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known My Name....he shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him....with long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation (deliverance).

The old devil is crying now....

Big Boy,
Your faith is commendable. But you are not perfect. We can do all the right things, make careful choices but again, nobody is perfect, we make mistakes. Are you so perfect that you cannot make any mistakes when it comes to avoiding accidents or certain possibly tainted foods? Just a thought :)

Ah but the Lord Jesus Christ is in fact perfect as is His faith.
That's why I abide in Christ being led by the Holy Spirit where the Lord treats me as thought I am in fact perfect

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

I stand on, believe, and walk in God's promises of protection and I've seen Him time and time again steer me around things that would have killed a lesser man (lesser men being someone not abiding in Christ as most claiming to be Christians do not)

Try better, because this answer is so low, full of terrible logical fallacies and manipulations that it is not even worth responding.

If you need to do this to defend your doctrine, guess who is on the wrong side, then.

I posted scripture, you rejected it so there's nothing more you'll be getting from me or the Lord.waving4.gif

Those who's daddy is the devil claim God's Word is not true and they claim God is a liar.

That's how we know the devil is their daddy

I've heard numerous people claim "God gave us doctors"

Yes, Luke was a physician but there is no scripture showing where he keeping practicing medicine after he started walking with Jesus. All the other disciples quit their profession to follow Jesus full time.

If it is true God gave us doctors then there should be at least one example in scripture where Jesus declined to heal someone and instead told the person needing healing to make an appointment with Dr Luke.

Can you prove from scripture that the Lord is instructing His people to trust in the wisdom and abilities of man, which is what practicing medical science is seeing it's mostly experimentation at it's best, rather than trusting the Lord for health coupled with God's Wisdom such as eating good, exercising, getting plenty of rest, not engaging is worry and anxiety or sin, etc?

I don't see anywhere in scripture where the Lord gives His people a call to action to go to doctors trusting in man's wisdom / ability rather than trusting in God's promises for healing in His Word.

God watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12), so is there any reason why He would exclude His promises on healing?

If you have any scripture references showing God giving His people instructions to trust in doctors, I'd like to see them if you can share any scriptures you have found along these lines.
I think God gave us common sense too. I mean God gives people wisdom to those to ask. There are many functions in the Body of Christ and yes some are doctors. Given the history humanitarian was Christianity birthed. God tells us to take care of people. Relationships are horizontal and vertical and as long as we keep putting God first and foremost knowing He is the great physician we know that all these things will not "cure us." We are in a sinful fallen world with a sinful body/nature. Nothing has been restore yet to God's original plan [fruition] - Jesus has the deed and it's paid in full but the time to move in is not yet here on earth. We are eagerly awaiting the entire earth is groaning for His return. I am physically disabled and have very complex medical conditions but for me - my focus is on being stable and managed. It's definitely heart wrenching and challenging but I am incredibly grateful for my medical team of staff who genuinely care and provide such incredible support and encouragement. God uses us too - you know to bring them to understand His power supercede their medical knowledge. 1 Corinthians 1:27 God uses all things. I know that clearly God is in control and He is the king of Mt heart. I think it has to do with where you live and stand in the equation. Do you trust doctors more than God? Do you understand doctors are fallible? 2 Chronicles 16:12 - the lesson is not against the physicians themselves but against Asa's heart, which turned to human solutions instead of God. Jesus also used validly medical knowledge is a gift from God - Matthew 9:12 Colossians 4:14. I hope this helps.

Right so you think the Lord is powerless and otherwise unwilling to provide healing for His people. Got it.

You snipped the Scripture I posted, I repeat :

Matt 4:7 Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’

I understand that as, you shall not ask for miracles, supernatural protecting, etc. if the Lord already has provided a cure. As everything on Earth is His. If you have a headache take paracetamol, asking the Lord for a miraculous cure you IMO are putting the Lord to the test, because He provided the means already.

It has nothing with your above accusations, about 40 years ago I surprised the church leader with the request to anointing me with oil following James 5:14. I had these colds (nothing serious BTW) but they kept coming back and back, I could not function normally over period of 6-9 months and paracetamol smldid not help. I was anointed will oil and the colds were gone.

So as you can see your 2 above accusations are false and unneeded also.

Where do you draw the line? For example, a Christian diagnosed with advanced cancer with possibly effective chemotherapy if taken soon, but with no certainty, as it is with cancers.

For how long until you go to doctors? Would you propose to wait for stage 3, stage 4, terminal stage and still just pray?

The thing is that with soon detection and quick treatment, it is almost easy to treat a cancer, but it is harder and harder in later stages when it gets metastasized and attacks multiple organs.

That is not really the topic, I admire BBJ's faith and I hope for him that he won't be disappointed. Point being is that his theology on the issue of going to the doctor is flawed.

All we can do is pray
We tend to overachieve, undermine, over complicate and make things so much harder than it needs to be. Maybe doctors need to bear witness to Christ within us. God uses all situations. It's like being in prison but having the key to unlock it. I know I myself have done this is various topics in my own life. Jesus came to set us free from all that.
