I am normally a fierce defender of paper and books, but I found this article to score some points, particularly in how we've sort of lost a lot of our propensity to be oral cultures much like the ancient Greeks or even how the Bible (both New Testament and Old) would have been passed down.

For the record, I do own a Nook HD+ from a few years ago, and had the original nook as well. I tend to prefer paper, but I do like being able to carry a virtual library around with me when I go places that hardly weighs a pound!
