Eph 1:13 is straight forward, if you believe otherwise, why ?
Hear then trust then believe equals sealed with the Spirit.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Now you aren't answering my question just like another ONE, why not?
The correct answer to Eph 1:13 is not the Holy Spirit of the triune God. The FIRST holy Spirit of promise is the holy spirit of "Jesus, the
christos" IOW Jesus the anointed one.
Did you
FIRST TRUST for the Holy Spirit of the Trinity? Or did you
FIRST TRUST in the annointing/christos
for your unsaved HUMAN spirit? What is the 'context of your 'out of context'
quoting (understanding?) of verse 13? Back up and read 12;
KJV EPH 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13* In whom ye also trusted,
I
first trusted in the same annointing/christos which
"Jesus the christ" was born with. And 'my spirit' was born again.
SRN 5547 christos
anointed, i.e. the
Messiah, an
epithet of Jesus
messiah isn't a '
proper noun' name of Jesus
And an
epithet isn't a name at all...it is a
TITLE
I can unpack so much more concerning this, but I'll stop here while it's still
milky......I hope.
EDIT; changed "quoting" to
"quoting" (UNDERSTANDING?)
