We need to first say right off and give understanding to the term used "you only have one problem in life." The one and only problem that exists that keeps humanity in situations (circumstances and situations or what is referred to as; tudors and governor's in Gal. 2:20) "they don't know who they are."
1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. - Galatians 4:1-2.
Most can relate to feeling pressure of life some time and things just seem to keep piling up. But "the pile" of things come out of the one thing that causes the pile which is; lack of knowledge, knowing who I'm. You can look at it like sin, sin comes from a nature and you sin because you have a sin nature or had a sin nature. But regardless sin comes from nature. You figure out nature and you can understand sin. The two nature's that exsist in life and the birthing, being born again, will be two keys to scripture for believers as they delve into scripture. You need keys to unlock so very important, as important as "that is where you want to start."
So if you start with say Moses or Abraham; as lovely and important as they will be to your understanding that is not where you want to start. It is far better suited to dig into them after you know something. You cannot go into scripture, start out wrong as far as trying to learn what YOU need to know as a christian. It's to hard and takes to long. Simple solution; start right.
A type and a shadow is not what I need to know, not when I'm starting out. I have the real deal in me and that's what I need to know, can you get a feel for that? I really don't need to know who the Anti-Christ is and where he is coming from. But I really do need to know who I am. It doesn't matter when the rapture, but it does matter that I'm born again and need to learn what that means. There will be plenty of time for learning other things in all scripture but what is written directly to me as a believer is what I need to spend my time learning with the help of the Holyspirit of coarse but He really could use something to work with. When we give the Holyspirit time and opportunity we start to see truth He honors.
A simple way to look at situations in life is; what I need to know in life and scripture is the main ministry of the Holyspirit, because He is my teacher. He is the only one that can teach you Christ, and if that is the case then that is my attention should be focused. Circumstances and situations is what get's my attention in most cases and it does not have to be like that all the time. At times yes because I just don't know better, but all the time and you will get wore out because the schoolhouse (the world) never lets up.
So the problem with an individual that does not know who they are is; Your Father wants you to know and it is a priority in life because it is life (Christ). We can say nothing else matters because it doesn't, not in view of God's overall plan for all He has said and done to be known by every person to ever be born. That is the will of God! Bless you.
