As for churches, stay out of doctrinal discussions and just stick to being loving and supportive. The moment you discuss doctrines some nutcase is going to accuse you of taking the mark of the beast and then they'll condemn you to Hell. Seriously.

That never happened at Church. Those people would barely even talk to us. I mean even when we would try to talk about something as unrelated as deer hunter, or anything else!
