So are you warning the people around you ?
Also if you are talking about a nuclear war, I am pretty sure that even the remote areas will be impacted, you won't be able to run anywhere- although I am not convinced about that part of your prediction yet- but I am a novice , so I have nothing to back my uncertainty up yet !

It's so unfortunate that the church is asleep, and they prefer to have their ears tickled. 1 Cor. 14:26 tells the church to participate in strengthening their relationship with GOD by ardent pursuit. But instead we bring in HIRELINGS to read the Bible for us, tell us what it says, and tell us what it means; and to hear from GOD for us, and tell us what HE says.

And we want to be "assured" that Jesus will take care of EVERYTHING, even though we're told WE need to be responsible for our welfare:

Luke 22:35 And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 36 He said to them, “But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one.

And so we are told that the church will be "raptured" before the tribulation (a LIE), and told that Jesus will meet all of our needs (a LIE), and we open our wallets and are happy.

Welcome to christianity (small "c"),

So will I have an advantage being in the UK - a bit further away from Russia !! ( said with a slight smile )
Thanks for answering my ' nosey ' questions.
Rita

Hey Butterfly,

"Further away"? Perhaps you missed the "GLOBAL thermonuclear war". ;)

Sixty percent of the European Jews perished during WWII, and I expect the same percentage of Christians and christians will perish, -- some by martyrdom and some because they'll take the mark of the best so that they won't lose their jobs, homes, and livings. It's a sad state of affairs and all we can do is hear from GOD as HE leads us.

Typed as "GLOBAL", but posted as "B". !?!?!?

Oh that little 'c' !! Lol xx
I am not sure about the passage from Luke yet, I heard a brilliant sermon some time ago that explained that whole verse in a way that I had not heard before, as ever I made notes, but am not sure which book I wrote them down in ( really do need to organise my notes more )
I must admit that I have been thinking about Gods promise to meet our needs , inlight of what you have relayed about stock piling - have not reached a conclusion yet.
Adding this all into the pot , as they say !

I didn't like to be too ignorent and ask what that was- I am guessing it's bigger than a nuclear war !!
My comments were slightly 'tongue in cheek ' - sorry black humour !

Yes, sorry about that - I have got a weird sense of humour, or maybe it's just a British one !!
In honesty I shouldn't joke about end times, but sometimes you need to lighten a mood. Guess it comes from working with people who have dementia , you just have to have a laugh, otherwise it is just all so depressing X

I just didn't want to 'show my hand' by asking. :)

Nah, -- ask away. There's so much which GOD has for the church which HE's called each of us in our own giftings that needs to be SHARED, CHALLENGED, and DEFENDED according to both Scripture and History, that we can't simply allow FALSE teachings, or miss TRUE teachings. And I'll gladly be held accountable for every word I say to the glory of GOD, HIS SON, and the HOLY SPIRIT. :)

I would propose that not "every square mile" of urban areas are invested with tent cities, human feces, rodents, and fleas. But if you want to disregard the Warnings afforded by Scripture, then I'm quite confident that everything will be fine. There's nothing to worry about.

What, Me Worry?
Bobby Jo
Tent cities are quite the luxury. They are easily the nicest places for homeless to sleep. Here is the homeless area just down my street under the bridge along the kk river..Google Maps

Filth from homeless camps is luring rats to L.A. City Hall, report says

By Dakota Smith and David Zahniser
Jun 03, 2019
When faced with complaints earlier this year from city workers about rats infesting L.A. City Hall, most city officials said little about whether the problem was connected to several homeless camps right outside. ...

Yep, quite the luxury ...

To All,

Apparently some think that living in a city offers conveniences which outweigh the negatives. Lot thought the same when he picked the lush valley and left the rocky crags to Abraham. But the end result didn't work out quite as Lot had planned, and it won't work out for those who choose to stay in a large city. -- But we all get to choose! :)

Good Luck,

Revelation 18
2 ... “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!
It has become a dwelling place of demons,
a haunt of every foul spirit,
a haunt of every foul and hateful bird;
3 For all nations have drunk the wine of her impure passion,
and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her,
and the merchants of the earth have grown rich with the wealth of her wantonness.”
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Ummmmmm, this isn't a "spiritual" warning. This is a PHYSICAL warning to Christians living in major cities of the world. And if Christians ignore this warning they WILL share in her PLAGUES.

Remember, Lot had two angels to escort he and his family out of harms way, and we have JOHN to guide not just four, but thousands and tens of thousands out of harms way.

I did not see this post yesterday, along with the post from @VictoryinJesus - The plagues in revelation are aligned to the plagues in Egypt- well Gods people were protected from them, they were sent to pharaoh and the people to encourage them to act on what God was relaying. I must admit I also see them in relationship to us coming out of the world, waking up to the influences ect.
I am not saying you are wrong as I have not got that far in my study yet- but surely it could be taken both ways - if you ' come out of the world ' on a spiritual level, this will also influence the physical world in which you live- your choices will be different.
Just noticed the time- I need to get up and get ready for work X

Work? What's WORK? :) -- I tell people I'm only available to do something on SATURDAY, but EVERYDAY is a SATURDAY! Even my watch doesn't have a Sunday thru Friday, -- they're ALL SATURDAYS.

Well, we can spiritualize a lot of things, but I prefer to find LITERAL fulfillments especially when they're occurring RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES. Silly me!

To All,

Apparently the West Coast cities have so many homeless people living in cardboard and tent dwellings that they have "Poop" patrols you can call to have feces picked up by city workers. Rodents are out of control and disease is rapidly getting out of control: measles, typhoid, and bubonic plague. Soon to follow will be cholera, norovirus, and rickettsial.

Bubonic Plague: The three most common forms of plague are: Bubonic plague, an infection of the lymph nodes; Pneumonic plague, an infection of the lungs; Septicemic plague, an infection of the blood . Symptoms include fever, headaches, and vomiting.

Cholera: A highly contagious disease that results in severe diarrhea, dehydration, and death if left untreated.

Measles: A blotchy, reddish-brown skin rash typically develops 4 days after viral exposure. Usually it starts with blotchy discoloration on the face, particularly around the hairline, then gradually extends to the neck, shoulders, arms, torso, legs, and feet.

Norovirus: Infection include vomiting, watery diarrhea, and stomach pain.

Rickettsial:
Signs and symptoms differ slightly depending on the type of rickettsial disease. However, like other viral or bacterial exanthems, most patients experience fever, headache, and malaise (feeling generally unwell) and a widespread rash of some description.

Rocky mountain spotted fever
  • Fever, headache, confusion, aching muscles, gastrointestinal symptoms
  • Rash from day 2–3, consisting of of small red blotches on wrists and ankles that become widespread and sometimes blister
  • 20% of cases do not develop rash (spotless rocky mountain spotted fever)
Rickettsialpox
  • Headache, chills, aching muscles, runny nose, sore throat, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain
  • Red raised spot develops at site of mite bite, later forming a dry scab (eschar)
  • Rash distributed on the face, neck, trunk and extremities, and is easily confused with rash of varicella (chickenpox)
Boutonneuse fever
  • Fever, headache, malaise, aching muscles
  • In half the cases, a dry scab known as a tache noire (black spot) develops
Louse-borne typhus
  • Fever and intractable headache
  • Rash initially splotchy, developing into raised red spots
Murine typhus
  • Similar to louse-borne typhus but tends to have a milder and shorter course
  • Flea bite does not have an eschar
Scrub typhus
  • Generalised swelling of the lymph nodes is common
  • Fever and headache
  • Rash occur 1–3 weeks after a mite bite and is a dry scab-like lesion
  • Rash usually only around the trunk and has a short duration

Typhoid: Poor appetite, headaches, generalized aches and pains, fever, and lethargy.

Typhus: Fevers and chills, body aches, nausea, vomiting, or a rash, which usually occurs around the fifth day of being sick.

I'm reminded of the old "MAD Magazine" Alfred E. Neuman: What Me Worry?
Bobby Jo

I've been reading about what is going on in LA. When we visited there some members of our family wanted to go see "Skid Row" - where a lot of homeless and destitute were camped out. They came back shell-shocked. I asked if they took any pictures and I was so proud of them when she said: "No. We didn't think it was right."

What is also dangerous about feces is that it dries and disease can go airborne. I was concerned about hepatitis since even if you're immunized, there are other strains. A family member works in a hospital near LA and TB - which has been long eradicated in America, is being brought in through the open border. Many may not realize that there are antibiotic-resistant strains being brought in. The relative told me that one of her patients with TB got up and walked back out into the public. I thought that they had to be quarantined but I guess not.

I've been waiting for a pandemic and it will probably start in LA. I watched a documentary on how a pandemic could spread. That's why I keep silver on hand just in case a pandemic comes to our area. And not a word that I'm aware of from the CDC. They're too busy taking pain medication off of vets with blown off limbs.:(

Every square mile of the country has homeless at some point. Most people do not have as permanent income or shelter as they plan for.

I just read that most Americans are 1 paycheck away from the street. Every year the cost of living has gone up as American wages have remained flat. "There but by the grace of God go I..."

And houses have doubled in size, and the choice of cars has doubled in price, and then there is phone, TV, and Internet is a "basic need" now.

We had a visitor at my work in 2001 from Japan and his unlimited calling cell phone was a pendant around his neck and it was $10 a month...and worked just fine in the US.

We should certainly employ homeless people to clean up their own mess.
Every person should have work to do....or not eat.
