Before we go to our topic, there is something that must be known.
The strict warning against additions and omissions can surely refer to the ORIGINAL and ACTUAL number of words and letters of the “words of the prophecy of the book.” The Greek Definition of “Add:”
In the Aramaic, the warning against includes the modification of their original arrangement. Here's the definition of the Aramaic word that corresponds to "add" in Greek based English Bibles:

Now, can the warning also refer to a LOGICAL arrangement of passages within the “words of the prophecy of the book” without adding to or taking away from them? Would God forbid such thing on this part of the Bible but not on the other parts? How about the logical arrangement of the Olivet Prophecy? As for me, the warning on Rev 22:18-19 only applies to the textual integrity of the “words of the prophecy of the book.” It seems that it is this aspect v7 is telling:

Blessed are those who retain the words of the prophecy of the book in their memory and those who guard it against alterations or corruptions. In v6, it is written what “these words” are about:
The “words of the prophecy of the book” are not about laws, statutes, or ordinances – they are words about PROPHECY. John was told to:
Laws, statutes, or ordinances are not being sealed; prophecies are! However, in the verse above, John was told not to seal the “words of the prophecy of the book.”
The Lord Yeshua strictly warns in v18-v19 against additions and omissions. In the Aramaic, it includes physical modifications or rearrangement of the original. But maybe, the Lord is also giving a hint about the existence of a logical arrangement.
