I hear crickets....
I don't think your dissenters will address this...it exposes their lies.
This is not difficult to address at all. I've moved on, but for your sake I'll reply. The very verse that Epi is referring to shows that the severity of God is for those in unbelief and the goodness of God is for those who stand in faith. Go look it up.

And we are not "wanting" God's severity to fall on anyone........that is another of his habitual false accusations trying to tell people what they believe, what they think and now even what they want. Like Jesus we are "not willing that any should perish", but sadly we know by God's word that it doesn't mean nobody will.

And yes, we need to be humble/meek and God-fearing, of course. But why does Epi assume that all those who don't embrace his message are not?

I will venture a guess why....

First of all, you don't understand his message (proven by when you say or assume what he believes), and your claims PROVE you don't have humility or meekness, or the fear of the Lord. That about sums it up!
Example: Look at ALL what @amigo de christo SAYS (falsely) what @Episkopos believes. It's ALL lies!! Yet, you "like" his post content. That shows that YOU actually DON'T understand what Epi is saying. You don't bother to correct Amigo with ALL his twisting of words/misunderstanding (if...), and lies, you blanket "like" when he rails against Epi FALSELY (with his lies). ...YET, you take your time to explain to me quote: "but for your sake I'll reply" (thank-you, by the way).

Secondly, proving you have no fear of the Lord, you have mocked Epikopos' testimony...wow!! That's pretty far...and you've yet to answer to God for that...

Do you really think that God is looking for people who are not "against" holiness? You can't see the arrogance of your statements.

any jesus that omits the fact one must FIRST bELIEVE ON HIM , IS NOT THE JESUS CHRIST of GOD epi .
We are not against holiness
we are against the preaching of attaining holiness without BELIEF on CHRIST .
Just as hyper grace seems to follow another jesus
B IG TIME so too do those who push inclusivism upon us . neither side is following JESUS CHRIST .
You seem so admant to teach about holiness , about picking up ones cross
ab out being dead to self , AND YET refuse to state ONE MUST FIRST BELIEVE ON JESUS
For it is BY HIM and IN H IM that we attain holiness , righteousness , salvation , justiication .
I know what inclusvisim teaches epi . And it does make void the fact ONE MUST BELIEVE ON JESUS .
And yet beleives it follows this SAVOIR OF THE WORLD . But not it dont .
FOR If it did it would never have made void BELEIF IN JESUS . all it is
is a FORM of godliness that simply denies the one true gospel , WHICH IS THE POWER OF GOD .
Having a form of godliness but DENYING the power thereof .
SO go ahead epi .
TELL ME with all your heart that ONE MUST FIRST BELIEVE ON JESUS .

If there is misunderstanding anywhere, people are always free to clarify, no? And I'm wondering how you have decided that Amigo's posts are wrong if you don't understand them.

But I'm not interested in going down the long winding labyrinthian rabbit trails of the carnal mind anyhow. It makes my inner man's eyes glaze over..... zzzzzzz. Scriptural truth is not complicated, it is simple....written for children. Eyes to simply see, ears to simply hear.....when the LORD gives it. That is the humility and meekness God is after. Too much dissecting, splicing and dicing with the carnal mind ALWAYS leads astray.....and no wonder since it is ENMITY with God because of being from the Enemy serpent himself.......PRIDE. It goeth before a FALL.

All I know is if any professing Christian has a problem with affirming "Christ in us the hope of glory"........something is awfully wrong. There is a false foundation here of one's own righteousness. And if the foundation is wrong, you can safely bet the farm that the rest of it must be off kilter too.

It's missing the "the" in front of creation.
It works correctly and structurally either way. In fact, it has more oomph without a “the.” The less fillers the better when writing. I have a huge problem with the word “that.”
Either way, quite a sentence. Immediately calls to mind the verse in Revelation.

And it's sad to see that you only want to catch someone out in a petty technicality to try and win an argument. What does that say about a person? You already know very well what I'm trying to communicate so I won't bother explaining.

I think we must not be among Christians here brother, if it they can't bring themselves to affirm the ABC's of the gospel.......faith in Jesus, and that it is Christ IN us who is the hope of glory. My oh my, it doesn't bode well unfortunately.

Do you really think that God is looking for people who are not "against" holiness? You can't see the arrogance of your statements.
I can see your problem with regard to righteousness. You are walking in your own righteousness. Which maybe you think God must be "accepting" because He hasn't hit you with a lightning bolt from heaven or something. He is not "accepting" it, He does not accept anything that doesn't first come from Him/heaven. It is strange fire and falls short of His glory, and all He is doing is longsuffering it for now. He longsuffers and puts up with a lot of things from people of the world who don't know Him, as well as from His children while we are growing and seeking righteousness, like parents do with their children...it doesn't mean He is really accepting and being glorified in those things

Why did Jesus say that we must not let our left hand know what our right hand is doing? I consider anything of merit from me to belong to God, from Christ in me, not from me. He will not share His glory with another. If I do good, then amen, to God be the glory, if I do wrong, then I know it is on me. If at any time I catch myself letting my left hand know what my right hand is doing I hate myself for it....I know God is not accepting such an offering, and I have already received my reward. It has to be Christ in us.....that is the only offering He "accepts". IF Christ is in us and we just do what we do with the simplicity and unselfconsciousness of a child........then He is glorified in it. But we must first receive Christ in us. And I think after that most of us die a long slow death to needing glory for ourselves, that is part of the journey and overcoming. The Lord lets life crush and beat the heck out of us and then we just really don't care about our own glory any more.....we know without a shadow of a doubt that "in me is no good thing", no true righteousness of our own, apart from Christ in me.

Reminds me of -

1Cor 1:22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom,
1Cor 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles,
1Cor 1:24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
1Cor 1:25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1Cor 1:26 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
1Cor 1:27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;
1Cor 1:28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,
1Cor 1:29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.
1Cor 1:30 And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption,
1Cor 1:31 so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

@Episkopos.......and I have to say, it must be worse for those who are offering strange fire on purpose like the sons of Aaron...false priests who got rejected by God..... and not just from time to time out of immaturity or from ignorance like unbelievers. It needs to be repented from.

1) What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
2) For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
3) For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
4) Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5) But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
6) Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
7) Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
8) Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified. Ps 143:2

Paul never wrote what he did for people to justify themselves with. Only God justifies. And only the self-righteous justify themselves...for ANY reason. It says GOD imputes righteousness....not the person.

Let God justify whom He wants to. Don't take the bait of the hypocrite.

That's why I call you to repentance. Instead of making the gospel about you, I counsel you (as the bible also does) to ADAPT yourself through repentance into righteousness and honesty in order to meet God's conditions for justification. Humble yourself and turn from your own ways to God's way.
Those who are founding a gospel upon their own righteousness are the ones who are making it about themselves and need to repent of it. We are not to go about seeking to establish our own righteousness but submit to the righteousness of God (IN us). That IS His way, of the new covenant. We are justified by His being IN our heart and in our mouth through faith not of our own that no man may boast. That's the gospel.

Do you mean I am making it about me if I give glory to Christ in me? If that's what you are saying, that is so very messed up Epi. Sure hope that isn't what you are saying.

And I believe that the issue of holiness boiled down is really a simple matter of consecration....consecrating our whole life to Him, lock, stock and barrel. It is us on the altar giving ourselves back to God because He first gave Himself to us, and He taking full possession of us. We can't do that either without Christ first being in us. We love because He first loved us......it is His love that we love Him back with.....His love shed abroad in our hearts, not of our own.
