According to Rom 12:6-8 and 1Cor 12:4-30, the ability to teach for Christ is
a spiritual gift.

According to 1Cor 12:8-11, it is the Holy Ghost's decision who gets selected
for it.

Some think we are here to attack the muslims. and its not in the NC anywhere. Some think healing was for the deciples. Even though the seventy went out also. Some think healing is not for today, even though many are getting healed today. Some think God uses sickness and death today. even thong satan came to stael kill and destroy. Some think tounges are babble even though the testimonys from tounges and amazing.

We servants of God are not the teachers. We simply write or speak each word that is formed in our mind from the information called Christ. Our Creator is the actual teacher.

Having now had a look at the verses I do not agree that they eman what you say they do. It doesn not say clwearly in English what you are trying to make it say. As He pleases. To you it means wheb ever to who ever He feels like. To me it means to who ever and when ever He sees someone asking for it and searching for the heart or God someone who wants to walk like and talk like Jesus. someone who wants to lay down there life to this world. God cannot contradict Himself. He say what I do for one I will do for another. So there for If God gives to one He must then do the same for an other so there for its all inclusive. ALl the gifts are for all the people. I see the sick healed at least weekly. I also pray in tounges and since I have done so, its just so much better everything is. So noy my kids do what they see me do. now there friends do what they see us do. and its growing. whats the chances we just happend to be the ones with a gift for healing No chance. There for everyone who will except them and walkin faith with them. If me and you went on the street and you done what I told you. I know you would see healing from your hand in His name that same day.

"grace that is given to us,..." (from Romans 12) "for to one is given the word of wisdom..." (from 1Corinthians 12)

The gift of teaching is "grace that is given", so the gift is not a work to learn or it would not be grace. It is given by God to whomever he feels like giving it to, not to anyone He sees asking for it.

It's a good thing that God didn't have us servants babbling like idiots because His chosen believers would never have been able to listen to the clear spoken words in English that they need to hear in order to understand the knowledge that flows from those words from the mind of Christ. Any fool can babble and believe it comes from God without realizing that that babbling comes from Satan instead. Satan doesn't want you to listen to the true gospel ( voice ) of God that us trusted servants preach to His believers.

"[The Spirit] distributes [the gifts] to each one, just as He determines" (I Corinthians 12:11) says it pretty clearly to me.

Of course, there may well be a lot of overlap between those who are seeking a particular gift and those to whom the Spirit intends to give it. A desire for the gift may be the first thing the Spirit implants in us, before bestowing the gift itself.

You are making a dontrine out of one scripture. In a thread about how to teach and here we are you teaching like alll the other teachers. I never saw the scripture that said all are teachers. Can you show me it.

Before they can begin to teach others, potential teachers themselves need to
first undergo adequate instruction.

Heb 5:12-14 . . In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you
need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over
again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an
infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid
food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to
distinguish good from evil.

You could say that the recipients of that evaluation were developmentally
delayed; viz: late bloomers, due to malnutrition.

Clearly then, the gift to teach doesn't come packaged with information. It's
left up to those with the gift to take the initiative to obtain information so
their God-given ability will have something to work with. It's not too difficult
to appreciate just how limited Stephen Hawking's thinking would be had he
not first studied something about mathematics, physics, and cosmology.

2Tim 2:2 . .The things which you have heard from me in the presence of
many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach
others also.

Churches are sort of like Ponzi schemes. Congregations are always in need
of new teachers coming in to replace those who are going out, e.g. the
retiring, the dead, the dying, the dropping out, and the moving away.

Whatever words God puts in my mind, I type or speak them. Here's what other servants had to write for God;

Psalm 92
5: How great are thy works, O LORD! Thy thoughts are very deep!
6: The dull man cannot know, the stupid cannot understand this:

Jeremiah 4
22: "For my people are foolish, they know me not; they are stupid children, they have no understanding. They are skilled in doing evil, but how to do good they know not."

Jeremiah 10
14: Every man is stupid and without knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols; for his images are false, and there is no breath in them.

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned through legitimate investments or business activities. Operators of Ponzi schemes usually entice new investors by offering higher returns than other investments, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent. (Wikipedia)

So you think Churches are a fraudulent investment?

What you think God forms in your mind.

There are lots of nutters out there who think they have a special hot line to God.
Why should we think you are special?

2Tim 2:24 . . And the Lord's servant must . . . be able to teach

There's a rule governing the gift of teaching that goes on the dotted line. It
reads like this:

-- not quarrel; instead. kind to everyone --

The koiné Greek word for quarrel is machomai (makh'-om-ahee) which
means: to war, i.e. dispute.

Well; disputing is what car salesmen do because they're desperate to move
vehicles. But the Lord's servant isn't a salesman; no, he's a herald; which is
essentially a messenger.

Quite a few of the people I encounter on internet forums aren't the heralding
type. No; they're rivalrous, competitive, confrontational, and combative; and
get really upset when I don't agree with and/or support their POV.

The Greek word for "kind" is epios (ay'-pee-os) which essentially means
affable, i.e. mild

Webster's defines "mild" as gentle in nature or behavior; viz: temperate; in
other words: agreeable, approachable, reasonable, calm, tactful, mellow,
and composed and self-controlled.

Non-mild people could be characterized as moody, grudging, irritable,
emotional, thin-skinned, belligerent, pugnacious, brawling, defensive,
flaming, confrontational, and reactive; around whom everybody has to walk
on egg shells all the time to avoid setting them off.

Patience and kindness are important; ergo: impatient, unkind people should
not attempt to teach for Christ even if he has bestowed upon them the
actual, honest to gosh, gift of teaching; otherwise they'll be representing
him in the flesh instead of in the Spirit.

Gal 5:21-22 . .The fruit of the Spirit is patience and kindness.

Q: How was it okay for Christ to quarrel and treat people with unkindness?
(e.g. Matt 23:13-33)

A: Christ was his Father's servant; and under his Father's orders how he
should act and what he should say. (John 3:34, John 6:38, John 7:16, John
8:26, John 8:28, John 8:29, John 12:49, John 14:24, Heb 1:1-2)

In like manner, Christians are Christ's servants; and under Christ's orders
how they should act and what they should say.

1Cor 14:37 . . If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let
him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the
commandments of the Lord.

1Ths 4:1-2 . .We beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord
Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please
God, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments
we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

In other words: Christ was under his Father's orders to quarrel and to be
unkind, while Christians are under Christ's orders to not quarrel and/or be
unkind. Anyone genuinely serious about following him will do as he says.

Luke 6:46-49 . .Why do you call me lord and master and do not do what I
say?

John 15:14 . .You are my friends if you do as I wish.

John 14:15 . . If you love me, you will comply with what I command.

John 14:23-24 . . If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching . . He who
does not love me will not obey my teaching.

I AM special but the servant typing this sentence is going to be killed soon so he's not special at all. I will continue to live forever after the servant dies.

All the antichrists who listen to the gospel of God I preach to them do not believe it's from God so it's impossible to teach them about anything that's hidden from created men. Only the chosen believers will listen to the words and hear the knowledge of Christ from God's voice.

Rom 12:7b . . If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching.

I had a Sunday school teacher once who worked as a maintenance man in a
public swimming facility. One Saturday he had to work late repairing some
equipment at the pool and had no time to prepare his lesson plan for Sunday
morning so he just threw something together. It stunk; and my wife and I
got nothing out of it.

In contrast, I once knew a pastor who took all week long to prepare his
Sunday morning sermons; rather than just Saturday night. Now there was a
guy who knew what it means to "do a good job of teaching". His heart was
really in it.
