Definitely pray that God restrains their evil influences against the people of God, so that we may lead peaceful lives in all godliness and honesty in the midst of a perverse and evil generation. You can also pray God will enlighten them and give Christians favor, like Joseph and Pharoah. The world will always do evil works, but God can keep us from the evil one's desire to steal, kill and destroy us.

Ukraine's defence ministry on Friday said Russia was planning to simulate a major accident at a nuclear power station controlled by pro-Moscow forces to try to thwart a long-planned Ukrainian counteroffensive to retake territory occupied by Russia.

And the latest news that is all abuzz on all the major networks.... RUSSIA blew up a dam, and flooded Ukraine.... and (breathlessly) the flooding is going to cause a meltdown at a nuclear power plant in the water's path!
What they don't tell you is that that particular dam is in Russian-held territory.... so, like you were supposed to believe with respect to that Nordstream pipeline.... Russia once again blew something up that only hurts themselves. Forget that we now know who blew up the pipeline, and it wasn't the Russians.
Oh, and listening to the news reports, you'd think this dam explosion happened yesterday. Ummm.... no. Spring run off has been filling the resevoir and water has been topping the dam for a few weeks. Back in December, there were concerns that low water levels would risk a melt down as there was not enough river flow to cool the reactor.
There are five dams along the Dnipro River. Ukraine controls four of them. Russia controls one of them. You are supposed to believe the spoon-fed story, that RUSSIA blew up the one and only dam that they themselves control.

I happened on America's Got Talent the other night. AGT, and not a single judge is American.
There was a three woman acrobat team from Ukraine in the competition.
When they announced the name of their homeland the crowd went nuts. Gotta love applause signs in broadcast media. Pavlov's dog, graduated.
They performed miserably. Were they any other group they'd have been buzzed off stage. Instead they got to go ahead. I wouldn't be surprised if they win the million dollar prize.
When Zelenskyy is received as a celebrity after an intro by no less than political Sean Penn at an actors self congratulatory slap on the back award show, we have to figure it out.
Ukraine is under siege by Russia but Zelenskyy can live stream to Hollywood? From spacious oppilrnt digs? When his people are homeless due to the bombings?
It's theater. During a proxy war between the U. S and Russia.

Imagine the peace and quiet if we ignored the news. And re-read George Orwell's 1984.
It's a terrific read. I read it for the first time in High School back around 1980.... I found it eye-opening and considered it prophetic or visionary... I didn't even realize it had been written some fifty years earlier.
But do you see now? We counter the narratives not because we think that somehow we are going to expose the messenger and cause him to quit, become honest and repent. Zelensky isn't going to change, nor the Media, nor @Episkopos for that matter. Most often you can be just a passerby and ignore the nonsense, but once in awhile you stop and speak, not it another wasted effort to illicit change in the one speaking, but to call out the deceit and damage done if and when you let these ideas go unchallenged. Maybe you post simply so others might live. So that they might turn and be healed.
It is a tactic though. Applying the principles of rhetoric, you can indeed diminish the message by diminishing the messenger. Trump does this with unmatched effectiveness.

It was not in Russia's interest to flood the region, that fresh water also was supplying Crimea. Fresh water will now have to pipe in from Russia across that bridge to the mainland that also experienced an attempt to be blown up by Ukraine. 'Ukraine benefits from blowing the dam to gain more western military support. They don't care right now about how this effects people living in eastern Ukraine which they already despise. Russia also lost all their military emplacements along the river. Destroying that, gives Ukraine easier access westward.
