Sam, in hospital, chest pains

Please pray for our friend Sam. He went to the emergency room yesterday morning, and doctors kept him overnight. He had chest pains and high blood pressure. He was raised Muslim but doesn't really follow it strictly. So please pray he will come to know Jesus, too.

Good news. The doctors didn't find any heart blockage. They are sending his test results to his doctor, so he can be treated for high blood pressure.

Btw, early this year Sam went through a terrible bout with Covid-19. His symptoms were bad and long lasting. The hospital had no beds at that time....he had already stood in a line of 200 to 300 people to be tested.

He was sent home where his wife who has severe health issues took care of him. It was a miracle that she didn't catch Covid-19 from him! Their daughter stayed away at college, although the college was empty.

I wasn't at this forum at the time, but posted a prayer request for him elsewhere. God again was merciful and answered prayers for him.

P.S. You might pray for his wife, L, and daughter, F. His wife has health problems but is always so kind. Their daughter is very sweet, a nice young lady. My elderly mom and I have known them for a long time.

Sam has always been kind to us (senior citizens), even dropping off Thanksgiving dinners for us for several years, and birthday food for my mother.

They are originally from Bangladesh and were our next door neighbors until moving away.

Here in L.A., people move in and out of apartment buildings and you never hear from them again. But they always have kept in touch with us and consider us as family.
