Some might ask, "How can that be, that Satan himself could be the final coming Antichrist at the end of this world?" Once properly understanding The Scriptures of God's Word pointing to Satan, it might surprise many brethren.
The following rules must be followed as per God's written Word:
Rule 1:
It is a Biblical fact that no flesh-born man has yet to be judged and sentenced to perish in the future "lake of fire" which only happens after God's Great White Throne Judgment at the end of Revelation 20.
ONLY... Satan and his angels have already been judged and sentenced to perish in the future "lake of fire" so far.
Rule 2:
The image of 'man' originates from our Heavenly Father's Own outward image likeness, not with flesh man (Gen.1:26-27). God created all angels with that same image of 'man', even though angels do not have flesh bodies (Genesis 18 & 19).
This means that, just as God's Word reveals that angels can appear here on earth among us without a flesh body, and even eat our food, likewise Satan can also. Satan's servants here on earth are ever busy portraying Lucifer like a ghost, or hidden spirit no one can see, almost as if he has no outward image at all, or as some evil nursery rhyme entity wearing red flannel underwear, with a goatee, and wielding a pitchfork. Men's imagination is just all over the place with how Satan has been portrayed. In God's parable about him in Ezekiel 28, God showed that He originally created Satan "perfect in beauty". That means Satan is actually a beautiful cherub. That programming by Lucifer's servants on earth will help Satan fool the world into seeing him as God having returned.
Rule 3:
The type body of the resurrection and world to come is a "spiritual body", not one of flesh (1 Corinthians 15:45-54).
A. "son of perdition" -- Lord Jesus applied this title to Judas Iscariot who betrayed Him. And in John 6:70 Jesus said Judas "is a devil".
But in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, Apostle Paul also used that "son of perdition" title for the coming "man of sin" that is to exalt himself in Jerusalem as God at the end of this world, even though Judas was already dead by then.
We still do not yet know if Judas will be judged to perish in the future "lake of fire" of Rev.20, because God's GWT Judgment is not yet. But we do... know Satan has already been judged and sentenced to 'perdition' in that future "lake of fire" (Matthew 25:41; Isaiah 30:31-33 with God using "the Assyrian" as a symbolic title for Satan.)
Which one then, Judas or Satan, does that "son of perdition" best apply to?
B. The "beast" that goes into "perdition" --
Rev 17:8
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
KJV
We already know that only Satan and his angels are already judged and sentenced to 'perdition' in the future "lake of fire" of Rev.20. So who is this 'beast' that "shall ascend out of the bottomless pit"? Who is the "angel of the bottomless pit"?
