It occurs to me that one of Satan's tricks, in an effort to lead us astray, is to make himself sound like he is God talking to us.

That could be true. That is why we must know what the Word of God says, and also the character of God in order to test the spirits.

But if you are thinking of my gift to hear God's voice, it's Him. Everything He has ever said is righteous and comes to pass. 100%

Hello Bob,

The Bible talks about Satan being done away with. But that doesnt mean that adversity is done away with. Sometimes my mind comes up with thoughts that could be false; which makes me panic. Sometimes my mind comes up with temptions, and its up to me to either cast those imaginations down, or not. Everyone is responsible for themsleves and what they do.

I dont know so much about Satan imitating God; that seems to far fetched in my opinion.

You could always end up meeting a person say that is 52 years old, and they are adversity and really mean you harm though they put on a front like they are light.

As individuals we are our own wost enemy; in life there are people who could be your enemy but become one which acts as though they are “part of the light”, when darkness resides completely in their eye.

Anyway, thank you for sharing your opinion,

In Love,
Matthew

I hope you read RR144's post:

"For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light." 2 Corinthians 11:14

I think the Bible prophesizes Satan's being done a way with, some day in the future.

"And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. ... And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." Rev. 20:1-3, 7
