I don't believe abortion is right after the first few weeks, unless there's an abnormality that will affect the quality of life for the individual or endangers the life of the mother.

My wife is a midwife and she opted out of participating in any abortions at all regardless of how far along the mother was.

I have to say that the care that I received in hospital was top notch and I'm grateful to the medical professionals that helped me through it.
I'm not saying that others have the same experience but on the whole, I trust our NHS.

Have you read or seen any stories about babies who were diagnosed with abnormalities and were born perfectly healthy? Have you read or seen any stories about babies who were diagnosed with abnormalities who were born, lived for a few minutes, a few hours, a few weeks, a few months, a few years, a few decades and were loved, cherished and cared for by their families?

Do you recall the incident in scripture where Jesus cured a man blind from birth and what his disciples asked him about why the man was blind?

I’ve heard doctors and nurses comment on how rare that is. I saw a doctor last week who said that there is no excuse for aborting a baby in the third trimester if the mother’s life is endangered. (She said the proper medical procedure is always to deliver the baby prematurely.)

I’m glad it worked out well for you. Did you happen to take the COVID vaccine? (If that’s too personal please don’t answer it.) It was a big moneymaker for doctors in the US. They pushed it hard. (I didn’t take it.)

There are always going to be anomalies that can't be legislated for....
I don't like the idea of abortion but can see where it may be necessary.

How long does a person in Britain have to wait these days for medical appointments and surgeries?

Waiting lists are coming down I believe, it's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but you can't fault the staff, the government have introduced something called virtual wards which aims to free up beds. In my case I was strong enough to leave hospital but needed close monitoring.
What happens is they send you home with all the equipment that you need to do your own observations.... Blood pressure kits, thermometer, saturation level monitor and a smart phone to log results.
The results go directly to the hospital for monitoring. Also nurses visit you at home to take bloods etc, it's a really good way of freeing up beds on the wards.

As for COVID.... I did have the first vaccination but refused all the others. Something didn't seem quite right and I got COVID very soon after the injection.
Looking back the whole thing was a fiasco and my thoughts are that a lot of people and companies made a lot of money from it, and I think that the figures were manipulated in such a way to spread fear.
Our government at the time didn't cover themselves in glory with their antics but that's another thread.
