Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. - 2 Corinthians 3:6.

Some people read their bible to know their bible.. but if you don't see Jesus in your bible, there is no life in your bible. Your bible has history in it and creation, and everything God is. But if you don't see Jesus in your bible you do not see the spirit of the word. Your bible has one purpose in mind, and that is to teach you Jesus, to show you Jesus.

In this life that is the only thing that matters.. at least to God. He spent a lot of time with the scriptures. Putting it together. Men of old - holy men of old inspired. It's like the lineage Jesus would come through. Ultimately protecting that lineage the Mary body would come through. We can follow that lineage, and see how it was protected to bring in the body, and be born of a woman. Point being - God has worked it out in scripture and we need to see Jesus in the scriptures. If we do not see Jesus when we read the bible.. the intent and purpose of scripture has no life. Scripture has that life in you.. and you will not know the depth God has gone to to protect that and make it known in scripture!

If you do not see Jesus in scripture, you will not see him in you. You spend a life time in religion, maybe picking up scripture and trying to glean something.. but if you do not see life - there is no life!

You can hear it all the time "what do you mean there is no life in Adam - God breathed on Adam he was made alive." That is no life. That is existence, and not even compared to the life in scripture. Did he breathe Jesus into Adam.. then it is not the life in scripture. Think about it, and see what is so plainly written to all with Christ in them!

The answer is simple.. people still want a life of their own. Those that can't see Jesus, and move on into the things of God, have a made up mind. I want to live .. and that life will be determined by me.

In my experience in dealing with the body of Christ. They want to know - until you tell them. It is not in ourselves to grasp the things of God and go. So it has been to those that are hungry.. that search to now how to put life together - to see life. They give their life - for his life.. the ultimate in Christianity. They see Jesus in the scriptures, and they give themselves to that. Because it all comes down to one thing in scripture, for the born again - and that is love. Do you love him more than you love yourself. Those that want to know. That is all it takes to get the ball rolling.. so to say. A hunger for the things of God. How is that? scripture says "they shall be filled."
