Seeing Salvation : #3

[Behold]

Jesus bore our sin, and died for it on the Cross.

A.) Done

B.) Salvation is completed.

And when we come to Faith in Christ, = God gives to us what Jesus completed on the Cross. = "the Gift of Salvation".. and "the Gift of Righteousness".

So, you have believers who are trying to DO THAT and KEEP IT, by "confessing sin", or some other self effort.... and they are "fallen from Grace".

And you have some believers, who understand that they have RECEIVED what Jesus has completed as their Salvation on The Cross, and they dont try to earn it, or perform for it, or try to confess sin to keep from losing it.
They understand that they HAVE IT... and have become "the righteousness of God, in Christ".

So, FORUMS are a ugly spiritual battle that is based on deception and pride.... between those 2 groups.
And then, add in the people who are religious but lost who want to Teach....
Forums = CONFUSION and every evil work.

See Reader........ there are many NT verses that are not given as doctrine or instruction to the Born again CHRISTian..., but they are given to unbelievers, by Apostles who are preaching to them.
Some denominations, and most believers do not understand that you can't take every verse in the bible, in the NT, and aim it at yourself.
And that is because some verses are not for the born again, as instruction or doctrine.

This is why Paul teaches us to "RIGHTLY DIVIDED" the word.
This means take what is ours, and do not take what is not ours... as instruction, doctrine, and spiritual application.

Listen..
Lets say you have a verse that says you have your sin, and if you say you don't then you are lying.

So, that verse is not given to the "made righteous", That verse is not given to someone who is "IN CHRIST"... .. .the Born again, as Jesus has our sin, died for it ALL..... and now and forevers....we have become "the righteousness of God, in Christ". "made righteous".

So, how to get all this understanding nailed down....

A.) = When you read a NT verse, you look at it .. THROUGH the LENS of understanding/discernment, which is... "how does this verse FIT the Cross of Christ. ?????

1.) If it works in harmony, then that is a verse that is FOR the Born again....= instruction, doctrine.

2.) If it contradicts the Cross.. If it teaches against the Cross.. .then that verse is not directed at the CHRISTian...

Listen.....

1 John 1:9, says that these hearers have sin.. .so, that is not the Christian, as CHRIST has our sin. So, that verse does not support or agree with the Cross of Christ.

Whereas...

1 John 3:9 says that we can't sin... and that is because the "WE", is the born again Spirit, that is 'in Christ", and there no sin found there.

So, what is the main issue?

Its this... Most Believers do not understand that the Son/Daughter of God, is the BORN AGAIN Spirit, that is "in Christ".

They dont understand this.. because their denomination does not understand it..... so, they look at their behavior as "what i am", and that is not God's perspective, as that is what they've been wrongly TAUGHT by really bad Theology that is what their church teaches.

So, when a person is misunderstanding being Born again, as a "New Creation in Christ"... as "what i do"....vs, = "what Christ has completed for me on The Cross..as my Salvation... , that i have Eternally BECOME..... then they read a verse that is talking about sin, and they think ... "Oh, thats me".
And its not.

And that revelation is what separates the people who understand "The GIFT Of Salvation"""", from those who do not understand Salvation, at all.

 

[Behold]

Righteousness is not something you can do.
Righteousness is something you exist AS,... born again "In Christ" or you dont.

Adam WAS originally Righteous, that was his status, as "one with God"....... and he lost that and became a sinner, fallen.

That is "spiritual death"... However....that isn't the death of the spirit, but its the separation from God's Spirit.

When we are born again, we are re-joined to God..........and this is "Spiritual union" ... found as "in Christ"... "one with God".

Holiness, is Righteousness, and that is not what you do, that is who you are "in Christ", or you aren't.
All people are unrighteous, until they are born again.
God only is : Righteousness.
So, to be joined to God, Spiritually, as born again, is to be "made righteous".

To become righteous, is to become apart from sin, or "made free from sin", because "God hath made JESUS to BE SIN...for us".
We can think of it as......... Darkness is the absence of Light. Cold is the absence of Heat. Sin is the absence of Righteousness.. A sinner is a state of being separated from God's Righteousness., as "all have sinned"...

God on the Cross as Jesus The Christ, has made it possible through His sacrifice for ALL who will believe to be eternally forgiven their sin and given the "new Birth", in the Spirit, that produces the believer as a "New Creation in Christ'.. "The Temple of the Holy Spirit".

To be apart from God, is to be separated from God's righteousness. Its to be separated from God's LIFE< which is "eternal life'.
When we are born again, we are reconnected to God, and His LIfe, becomes our Eternal Life.
See that?

When we get this Eternal Life as "the Gift of Salvation"..., its because God has dealt with all our sin on/by the Cross of Christ, ....and so that solves our SIN issue, and then, once our sin is forever resolved, = God gives us the "gift of Righteousness" which solves our Righteousness problem.
A.) This is "the GIFT of SALVATION".

 

[Behold]

A Christian, begins day one, born again, = having become the "Righteousness of God'.. "in Christ"..... "made Righteous".
We never become more Righteous or less Righteous...., but we learn how to live in that restoration and how to BELIEVE IT..., so that we begin to produce the spiritual fruit that God's Righteousness produces = as our Discipleship.
This is your born again Spirit, that is "made righteous", and that is the REAL YOU. That is the SON/Daughter of GOD.
Not your body and not your mind.

Most Christians do not understand "righteousness" and they are like the Messiah rejecting Jews who are trying to establish their own righteousness.
Many believers are chasing commandments, law, and works, to try to prove to God...."Hey God, look at ALL my RIGHTEOUSNESS".

And God says....... that is NOT MY Righteousness, that is your Self Righteousness.

Where is Righteousness found?

A.) IN CHRIST.

And all the born again are "In Christ", having become "ONE WITH GOD"....as a "new Creation IN Christ".

This is why the verse says.....>"AS JESUS IS.......so are the born again....IN THIS WORLD"....

And HOW is Jesus? = He is RIGHTEOUSNESS.... He is our Righteousness.. and we the born again = exist "IN Christ".
