4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

Serious mental sharpness to handle stuff
I get mentally sharp when pretty girls come into my orbit and I get mental fog when unsolicited advice is bucketed my way.

Is there something wrong with me?

Scripture reading and meditation does act as a mental purifier also.....I can think of some NT verses which could be taken as saying this also....

Me too! I couldn't express it like you did but how you said it fits perfectly with what I am experiencing. I can't stay focused and I am having difficulty motivating myself to do necessary things like filing taxes...ugh.

@Heart2Soul Sometimes reading the Word itself can focus the mind.....and is a healthy pursuit indeed...
