Hi, I was wondering if any Christians here could help me in defining the truth about this so called doctrine the serpents seed which seems to be a controversial minority teaching for some Christians as opposed to the majority that reject it. The bible clearly states in Genesis 3: 2, 6 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, But God did say, 'you must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the Garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die. When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing To the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Now understanding this scripture correctly it seems logical to me that what is said to be forbidden is the taking of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. But when Eve took of the fruit and gave some to Adam they obviously broke the command, as a result GOD cursed them to die thus sin entered the world hence all offspring thus generation after generation. Cain murdering Able was purely out of anger from his sinful nature passed on from his parents, also temptation of Satan around him in deceiving him to do Evil. So how can it possibly be suggested in any of this that Satan had sexual intercourse with Eve, thus Cain was Satans offspring. Satan was in spirit form or an entity, GOD had denied him a physical body he had no hardware how could he possibly enter her. Surly this is a false doctrine, it must be, even the Catholics don't believe in it...
