It's okay for you to ask as many questions as you want but when you are asked to explain the motivation for these questions you become defensive and posts messages like this?

Have you experienced this strife firsthand?
What was the cause of this strife?
Was it a change in your beliefs?
Did you challenge your body with these new teachings?

At this point, the questions are more important than the answers.

That was a concern. (a trajectory toward atheism) But I would more likely leave the church.
Many believers on this forum and others have already done that.
Although they have been on their own journeys.
