Ok, I know this opens up quite a bit but I can't seem to wrap my mind or understanding around it.1st- Jesus descended to Sheol to preach to the souls who never had a chance of hearing Gods word through his son- correct? And are the 8 who were saved those who slept with the fallen angels?2nd- Is this grave done away with now that Jesus has defeated death, or is it a holding cell for non-believers before judgement?3rd- Paul, I think it was Paul, who said we as Christians would rather be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord....now is this listing a Christians 2options (while alive and after death?)I could google and get non-scripture based ideas all day long....Im hoping for some verses I could study. Thanks in advance!!!

1 Peter 3: 18-2018For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 20Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.---The fallen angels from Genesis I believe, who slept with the human women, and their descendents later were known as giants.
