This is what I love about my church. Everyone is volunteer. The pastor doesn't make a dime and everything goes into the church.

I like to sing at different churches and they give me like a free will offering. It always feels weird taking it, because I don't like to sing for money. But it has actually helped us out sometimes during the summer and I have used it for some fun too. I like to give it back too in like our kid's ministry at church and stuff. I don't think it is wrong for missionaries or pastors to be given money. Especially if they use it to help others in need. To charge though, I wouldn't feel that is right personally. Because God cares for our needs if we are seeking His kingdom and doing His will. And those under a minister's lead look for his example.
