When I read the bible I see something more amazing that water cleaning a person...I see the blood of Christ doing the cleansing...not water.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Why do you transpose ...body cleansing...from sin cleansing...per the Bible?

The blood of Christ establishes the umbrella of....grace...under which we may be forgiven of sin if we repent of our sins and are baptized in water...thereby acknowledging Christ as our Savior.

I would tell newbies to listen to Jesus - > water baptism is commanded.

All of the apostles, including Paul, baptized believers in water.

Being baptized in water doesn’t require anyone to do all of the law of Moses. Baptism in water is a part of, is obedience to, the Messiah’s law.
Pleas re state...not clear?

We must cleanse our heart/soul of sin. Baptism is required.
Acts 2 38 et al.
From the way you wrote it...heart/soul...our heart is symbolic of our soul. Just as baptism of water is symbolic of being cleansed by the blood of Christ Jesus.

Acts 2:38 tells us to repent and be baptized because of our salvation.

Not because of.......for sin cleansing as part of tepentnance.....to qualify for eternal salvation.

Not so....equal to born again...not saved...here on earth. Don't take things out of context.
Saved is when Christ invites us to enter the era of eternity........saved...HE DECIDES THAT .....after physical death.
So, you don't know if you're saved?

You don't qualify for eternal salvation.....it's a free gift.
Would you like to meet the real Jesus?

So, you don't know if you're saved?
Correct...we can know that we are born again ......by repentance including water baptism. Then by living a righteous life ...until the end.....we are eligible for approval for eternal salvation upon Christs' review after physical death

LOL...well then dont repent, dont be baptized and dont live a righteous life and see how far you get towards eternal salvation when you decease.
The free gift is grace...the umbrella of forgiveness ......given free to us by Christ's sacrifice on the cross, with standards we must meet to receive such.

That is the real Jesus. Hopefully u will get to know Him and keep His word.

I’m speaking about the law of Messiah, not the Mosaic law.

Every believer of and in the Messiah should be baptized in water, as he commanded and as the apostles and elders obeyed.

Teaching newbies that they should‘t be baptized in water is teaching newbies not to listen to and obey the Messiah.
That is not scriptural.

The Bible and commandments is/are not the Messiah's law...the Bible contains God's commandments. The Messiah is the enforcer of God's laws.
