So, if a soldier is in a battle..and comes to know Jesus when his soldier friend presents the gospel...believe it...then is killed 10 min later with out being baptized.....is he going to hell?

If a person hears a street preacher and believes.....then dies on the way to the baptismal....is he going to hell?
Why must you ask such silly questions.

Just as silly as believing baptism is just a symbol.

Some just do not believe what the NT teaches.

Acts 22:16
16And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.

1 Peter 3:21
21Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Mark 16:16
16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Jesus DID send Paul to preach.

1 Corinthians 1:13-17
13Has Christ been divided into factions? Was I, Paul, crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the name of Paul? Of course not! 14I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15for now no one can say they were baptized in my name. 16(Oh yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas, but I don’t remember baptizing anyone else.) 17For Christ didn’t send me to baptize, but to preach the Good News—and not with clever speech, for fear that the cross of Christ would lose its powe
r.

I'm sorry D,,,
I've lost track of our conversation.
The Gospel that Christ sent Paul to teach is Gal 1:11-12, Gal 2:2, 1 Cor 15:1-4
Where is water immerse baptize taught as a requirement in that Gospel

Borrowing a scientific perspective: before birth, human beings develop and grow in amniotic fluid. Although we are born and grow to adulthood, that does not mean we are adults in God’s eyes. We are still infants—or even fetuses still in the womb. Baptism may represent our need to be reborn, to draw nourishment like a fetus in amniotic fluid again—but that nourishment is God’s Word.the water of life in the womb.

I thought the blood of Christ washed away your sins...not water.
Does this mean the blood of Christ was symbolic and the washing away of our sins by water is how it really happens?

But where to find the blood?

I understand that you are unable to answer a simple question
Please list the verses where Paul teaches WATER IMMERSE BAPTISM is a requirement to enter Heaven :)
Water Baptism is part of faith; accepting baptism represents that you believe—that you believe in the words of Jesus Christ.
If you think that someone’s unwillingness to accept Water baptism means that person cannot be saved, then there is still the baptism of the Holy Spirit prepared for them.

Are you satisfied with my answer?

Yet you continue to insist that WATER IMMERSE BAPTISM is a requirement to enter Heaven yet Paul does not teach that as a condition

Christ taught Paul the Gospel Gal 1:11-12
That Gospel is 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 1:13
Where is WATER IMMERSE BAPTISIM in that Gospel ?

When did I say that? Your question is very strange.
Did you read my words carefully?

Besides water baptism, there is also the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
I didn’t understand before why some people first receive water baptism and then the baptism of the Holy Spirit, while others first receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit—
because some people simply are unwilling to accept water baptism,
so I discovered that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is prepared for them.

OH.
I see.
You pick out the verses that you like and ignore the rest.

A very interesting way of studying scripture.

Unfortunately, we must take all of scripture and make sense of it.
It's the only way.

Scripture presents us with baptism:

1. with water.
2. of the Holy Spirit.
3. as entrance into a group.
4. for forgiveness of sin.
5. for special strength.
6. for gifts...healing, speaking in tongues.
7. for regeneration.

Paul did baptize a few persons,,,but it was not his primary goal.
I'm sure he told those to whom he preached that they should get baptized.
And those to whom he just wrote.

I've studied baptism a few times now...
And probably will continue to do so.

So you really think that you need to drink the blood of Jesus Christ ?

But where to find the blood?
Did you ever read John 6?
You might understand it or not...
you might believe it or not....

But you most definitely should not make fun of what Jesus taught.

John 6:53-55
53So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. 54“He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 55“For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.

Find out what the word EATS means in Greek in 54.
It's easy.
We have the internet now.
