Should I Do This?

First of all I'm tagging @Grailhunter since he's been following my original story for chapters now. With the exception of Jesus, I've been writing this modernized version of the trinity where God the Father is this rock and roll dude by the name of David Goliath James (DJ for short and (hence the title of the story and possibly eventual series) and The Holy Spirit is this woman by the name of Hope,.. but now I decided to add a villain which is the modernized version of the devil (Satan) that is this rapper with the Wicca (star in a circle) symbol around his neck and he smokes and does drugs.




Now, here's my issue, I was planning on making him African American,.. but since we're all currently living in cancel culture,.. my worry is that some people might find that this is racist and I hate black people and think that they're evil when obviously this is not the case. On one hand it's just a story and I feel like I should write the bad guy however I want, but on the other hand I don't really want to start anything. Any ideas?

Im African American and I say go for it. Just flesh out all your characters well and anyone with any sense will be fine.

Okay,.. that's ironic I wasn't expecting an African American to actually respond lol but yeah for the record I actually have friendly neighbors who are black and most people I run into are really friendly. Actually I think you only tend to find the mean ones in dark allies and such. Ironic how the people who are usually getting offended with these kinds of things aren't actually those kinds of people themselves lol

LOL I liked this because of the last line but he's Wiccan because Wiccan is evil and the devil is evil hence the fact that he's a bad guy. However, not sure if you were being sarcastic or not with this since you can definitely tell fantasy from fiction and for the record this story isn't even on this website but you already know that. XD

Oh btw for the record I just literally met her and I can already tell that @Wynona is nowhere near like Kamala Harris. I'm not even sure what color that evil woman really is because all I can see is red whenever I think about her and all the innocent babies that she's killing!! Lesson of the day,.. outside it doesn't matter what color you are because the inside is only what counts. And white people can be just as bad as some black people out there and black people can be just as loving and caring as white people. :) More and more lately it seems like us whites are having our turns with being discriminated against because now there is unfortunately such a thing as racism with whites and it shouldn't happen on either side either. (Out of the mouths of babes!!)
