Cristo Rei, thank you for sharing. I can only imagine how hard it was for you and what you went thru to get to this point. God blessed you and brought you this far. Yes, we ourselves have been through the several stages of trying ways to help our son and you are right, it only made things worse, we soon found out our help was beyond his reach and out of our control, and that it was up to him instead. We do love his visits and very little is being said about his addiction, we mostly only answer when he brings it up, otherwise we talk about other things. Although his exterior is all messed up, the good, and loving person is still in him and when I look at him, I can still see the little loving boy in him, the happy full of life teen, and the young man who was so successful. Being a mother all I can do is cry and pray and wish I could pull him out of the pit he has fallen into and save him. He doesn't leave here without a hug and letting him know that we love him. He has lost control to drugs and I see that as a sickness which is why I hold it up to the LORD for healing. Again may God deliver him from his addiction(s) save his soul and keep him protected and safe and return him back to Him and us, In the Name of God The Father, through his Son Jesus, I believe he will be freed, Amen
Thank you to all the others as well who have prayed for him.
