Very Soon Jesus will Rule from Jerusalem as King of Kings and Lord of Lords!!
Revelation 1:5 calls Jesus, "The ruler of the kings of the earth." (NASB) Knowing that, you might wonder why this world is in such a mess!

But it's important to understand that, even though Christ has the right to rule the earth, He isn't exercising His authority over the kings and kingdoms at this time. Satan won a temporary legal right to rule the kingdoms of the world when Adam foolishly relinquished his God-given authority to him in the Garden of Eden.

When Satan tempted Jesus by offering Him "all the kingdoms of the world and their glory...." (Matthew 4:8-10 NASB), the Lord did not dispute Satan's temporary legal claim to those kingdoms -- and the right to offer them to Him.

But Jesus knew that when His work on the cross was finished, Satan would be, too! In John 12:31, Jesus said, "The ruler of this world shall be cast out." (NASB)

It's only a matter of time until Christ comes back to earth and claims His rightful role as King of Kings and Lord of Lords! What a day that will be!
Revelation 1 says, "To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." (Revelation 1:5-6 KJV)

He has "washed us from our sins" - past tense. It's already done. If only we could get it through our heads that we have been cleansed from our sins and their eternal judgment! He "has made us kings and priests" in Him. Again, that's past tense. It's done!

The fullness of God's great love is a present reality and His forgiveness of our sins is a past fact. We don't have to wait and work to be forgiven. The work was fully accomplished when Christ shed His blood for us two thousand years ago. All that remains is for us to accept the pardon, which God is so eager to give us and to delight in the realities of His ever-present love! Hal Lindsey

Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior OR reject Him+All your choice!! Choose wisely!!

I agree.

The seven year tribulation Period plus the time from now to the rapture is the wait time.

Who or what is "Jerusalem " ? o_O

Gal 4 22 "For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. "

The passage you are quoting pertains to the Church Age, where Jerusalem (on earth) at present is identified with Sodom and Egypt, as well as Hagar and the Old Covenant.

However, you should acquaint yourself with all the prophecies pertaining to the redemption and restoration of Jerusalem in Israel AFTER the Second Coming of Christ. And that is the Jerusalem from which Christ will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Sorry, been there done that...long ago...
The Lord is going to set up a spiritual kingdom... God is Spirit. Not 'a' spirit but Spirit. If we are joined to Him and made one...it will nbe spiritual. But, each to their own...I'm sure we all believe that God has shown 'us' the clear truth. One day we will know.

But, as I have said before...these things are interesting to study and discuss...but none are a beach to die on.

The Lord is going to set up a spiritual kingdom..
A spiritual Kingdom which will be (1) real, (2) physical, (3) visible, (4) tangible, and (5) eternal. There are scores of Scripture which make this crystal clear, whether or not you believe it.

Oh... I think it is pretty clear. The OT is replete with passages that the Messiah will reign from literal Zion (Jerusalem) on earth. Even Psalms 2 makes mention of that and ties into the Rebellion of Revelation 20.

YHVH made an unconditional covenant with King David that one of his lineage would reign from literal Jerusalem over Israel and the entire world. Well, it would seem that is Yeshua. 2 Samuel 7. And Psalms 2 also says that YHVH will set His Son as King on His Holy hill in Zion.

Even the disciples understood these things and asked Yeshua just before His returning to the Father after His resurrection if now was the time that the kingdom would be restored to Israel. He didn't dispute the question but told them it was up to the Father.

Yeah.... I think it is pretty clear that it is not an allegorical type of thing. There are dozens of other passages that support this, but I don't want to do a college level dissertation tonight. It does help though to consult all of scripture and not limit ones self to the NT.

The Torah requires that for anything to be established, it must be supported by two or more witnesses. Well, the Bereans in Acts 17 gave us the example. They searched the scriptures (OT) daily to see if what Paul (NT) taught them was true. The HS commended them for that. So, the standard is...... any doctrine on virtually any issue has to be supported in both OT and NT or else it doesn't meet the evidentiary standard YHVH laid out in the Torah.
