Speaking Like A Dragon

Revelation 13: 11 "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."

"The popular Fox Network, posing as conservatives, has actually perfected this Process, for in just about every program, they then follow up with a counterpoint to dispute the original thesis. This is recognized as the antithesis -- or another opinion, posing as the "truth." In the case of we call the Fox-In-The-Henhouse Network, we routinely find a split screen with the attractive anchor in the middle, who serves as the facilitator. The resultant opinion, is what would be known as the synthesis -- an amalgam of the two opposing views. In the Process, this is defined as the truth."

"Perhaps the most ironic aspect of all of this is the fact that those who should be the most acutely aware of the threat posed by this system, the Christians, are perhaps the least conscious of this huge phenomena -- ironic because Jesus Himself (as well as the other New Testament writers) referenced it about 1,900 years before the philosophical German was conceived. Thus Hegel, and his predecessors invented nothing, but should certainly be credited with articulating The Process in a new and interesting way."

"Once initiated into the Practice of the Dialectic, the truth is defined by that which can be agreed upon -- thus the operative phrase the Dialog to Consensus -- also known as Practicing the Dialectic (Diaprax being the compound word). Few realize these fundamental concepts are intrinsic to Marxist thought, and they are now all pervasive in just about every aspect of American life.

Political ideologues, usually operating under the rubric of Progressive, are certainly cognizant of the leftist political slant usually associated with the Process; however, very few people are aware of the fact that the Process is actually a phenomena that transcends political and/or economic structure. In truth, the most insidious aspect of the Process is how it subtly transforms the definition of absolute truth, to the shifting sand of the consensus. "

"Thus, the definition of absolute truth, such as that found in the Word of God, is quietly redefined as that which the consensus has agreed upon, and the concept of absolute truth, existing apart from the Dialectic, is shunted away to a place where it is considered to be no longer relevant."

Hi texian,

All I can suggest to this ~less that well considered advice~, is that because digital watches do not have ~sweep hands~, this generation will lose the concept of time.

I don't know where texian got that from, but the general principle of it is correct as a trait of later Marxism.

Hegel (1790's), a German philosopher, further developed the dialectic idea which roots actually began from Plato, Socrates, etc., in ancient Greece.

Fichtean Dialectics (Hegelian Dialectics) is based upon four concepts:
  1. Everything is transient and finite, existing in the medium of time.
  2. Everything is composed of contradictions (opposing forces).
  3. Gradual changes lead to crises, turning points when one force overcomes its opponent force (quantitative change leads to qualitative change).
  4. Change is helical (spiral), not circular (negation of the negation).[sup][6][/sup]
The concept of dialectic existed in the philosophy of Heraclitus of Ephesus, who proposed that everything is in constant change, as a result of inner strife and opposition.[sup][7][/sup][sup][8][/sup][sup][9][/sup] Hence, the history of the dialectical method is the history of philosophy.[sup][10][/sup]
(from Wikipedia).

Translation of the 4 points:

1. -- The only permanent law of nature is change. The transient and finite idea is like how the earth continues to exist, while many transient changes still take place involving the earth.

2. --- Everything in nature involves opposites of the positive vs. the negative. It's an establish law of nature, even within the operation of atoms and molecules. This is what Oriental beliefs like the Ying-Yang concept is about. Zorasterian religion of the Persians also included this concept applied to good vs. evil as co-EQUALS. That's exactly how modern science and the age of reason thinking is too with the positive and negative principle of opposing forces in nature. It's a natural part of this world, so they think it MUST continue that way, otherwise the very fabric of space and time would fail. So many human secularists have put the 'moral' (positive) on the back burner because of this basic law of physics of opposites which God established for this 'present' world. It has led them to do some very nasty unethical things in the name of science, simply because of viewing the 'negative' as a natural law that must co-exist EQUALLY with the positive.

For that reason, they do not see the 'negative' side as evil or immoral, but that it simply exists as a 'force' with no moral sense attached to it. This is how Nazi doctors could experiment on humans with torture just to catalog how long a human could live under torture before they died. It's because those don't see the 'negative' (evil) in a moral sense, but as a natural unbiased force per the law of opposites in nature. This is how some environmentalists of today could come up with the concept that unless a certain percentage of world population is exterminated, then the human race will not continue to exist.

But per God's Word and Christian Doctrine, the positive and negative only exist for this present world how God set it up, and even then Satan (negative) is not co-equal with God, for Satan can only do what God allows him to do, even at this present time. We know that God (positive) and Satan (negative) are NOT co-equals. And that in the world to come, God is going to literally destroy the 'negative' (evil), and ONLY the Positive (God and His children under Christ Jesus and the earth) will continue to exist.

3. -- Opposing forces through conflict create changes. The early dialectic was that the overcoming side of the conflict produced the change. This is still how it works today, but not how... Satan's servants on earth today apply it. The main difference with Hegel's progressive dialectic is that it produced the Marxist Dialectic Materialism (Communism), and... Hitler's brand of Nationalist Socialism.

From Hegel was proposed the idea of the CONTROL OF BOTH OPPOSITE SIDES to purposefully created the DESIRED CHANGE. In other words, control both sides of an argument, and you can control the final outcome of the debate (what texian's post revealed). To put this in even more familiar terms, it would like controlling both sides in a war through supplied 'funds'. You could simply cut the amount of funds of one side reducing its materials for making war, while increasing the funds for the other side to increase their ability. By that, you control the conflict, and its outcome.

The main principle that appears to be involved with this is the chaos the conflict of opposites creates. Without the resulting chaos little change is produced. The bigger the chaos, the bigger the conflict (more involved) and thus the bigger the change.

It should be obvious that our Heavenly Father is using the negative force principle for change during this present world, all the way to the end of this world. In Matthew 13, Christ foretold us about the "tares" hidden among His people that exist to create the chaos that were ordained of old to that condemnation of working against Christ (Jude 1). He revealed for us, His servants, to leave the "tares" alone, that at His second coming the angels would gather up the "tares" and burn them in the fire, and then the wheat (His children) would be gathered to His barn.

4. -- Change is helical like a spiral. Mind you, that's in the sense of this present world for that view. In God's future Kingdom it will be circular until evil and the wicked are destroyed in the "lake of fire", and the rebellion against God is finally destroyed forever.

Using thesis vs. antithesis to produce a synthesis of the two opposites is exactly how Hegel's ideas are being used by today's Communists. In Golitsyn's 1980's work New Lies For Old, he outlined the long-range strategy of Communism developed in 1958 as the New Economic Policy (NEP) to join the East with The West under one system of world socialism. This is why we've seen the forming up of the European Union under the principles of Socialism, and why also in the America's evidence of the North American Security and Prosperity Partnership behind the scenes to join the U.S., Canada, and Mexico under an American type union is already at work. Per the principles of 1970's Tri-laterism, at least 3 separate unions like that were proposed prior to joining them together to form a one-world government system over all nations and all peoples. If you realize that working for today, then you can easily see how the Hegelian Dialect of 'controlled conflict' is being used to bring that about.

Once again, one guy presents ~digital time~ and another presents ~second/minute/hour hand~ time, either of which are not necessarily absolute TRUTH. And where there may be either a ~middle~ truth to be found, or none at all, it is folly to accuse one media source as the link to the a/c.

However, if this article had been critical of say -- ABC, CBS, NBC, or MSNBC --, then I would have agreed. :p

These sound like very subjective philosophies, there can't be much truth to this.

A real simple way to say it is, create a problem, offer a solution (according to terms under your control). The Communists in their long-range strategy declared their desire to capture one or more political parties in the U.S. If that is the case today, then it means the Republican and Democratic parties are both working towards the same end goal, and their outward conflict is only a mask for the public.

Veteran: The thread here is from the
GEOgram for November 4, 2011. Geomedianetwork is an Internet radio broadcasting network and also has a Yahoo Group, which is an arm of Christian Media Network, but is more focused on the political and sometimes alternative health issues. The Yahoo Group is not an interactive group. James Lloyd posts regular GEOgrams on the group which now has 482 members.

I just posted, "The Dialectic Mind In Our Age of Deception" which is more on the spiritual side of the dialectic process.
