Still not sure how people who have not been to heaven can just say, "it's just figurative".The alter is figurative, no one is under the altar. The altar signifies that they were a sacrifice for Christ. It's imagery. Just like when Abel's blood cried out to God. It's figurative.
Here is some more figurative facts. The moon is a big round rock with crater marks. There is literally no moon.
The sun being a huge star of various gases. That is figurative, there is no actual sun.
The stars being celestial bodies, that is figurative. In reality they are angels.
See how easy that works....
Call me crazy, but the truth is stranger than just coming up with interpretations because the Bible cannot be read as given. It needs some help to make it seem more real?? Just wait till the skies are rolled back, and this virtual reality, we have been taught as a 14 billion year old universe, disappears.
