If you stand in one spot and don't move, you will appear to be standing still. But the earth you are standing on is said to be rapidly circling the sun, and I imagine the sun is moving rapidly, relative to the Milky Way Galaxy, and I've heard the Milky Way Galaxy is rapidly moving away from a central point. So what is actually standing still?
