I was reading rumors about Charlie Kirk becoming Catholic. I did some digging a couple days ago and came across this article. It was written by a man who says he is the brother of a Catholic bishop that Charlie met once. I knew Erika Kirk was baptized & raised Catholic- attended Notre Dame and went to mass, and I knew that Charlie has attended mass with his wife and was on good terms with the priest. No surprises there.
BUT this article says that when Charlie spoke about Mary in a video from his show he states, -
"It was a video that could have been shown in a Catholic school religion class."--
but when I watched it, I noted that it was the same video I had already come across earlier where Charlie lists several reasons why he does not agree with the RCC. A Catholic religion class? I don't know if this guy didn't actually watch it or what.
His reasons are ones that I also share and are not reasons that can be dismissed easily. Sure, he does speak about Mary, and I agree with what he said.
His video was made only about 1.5 months ago.
So- just a heads up if you also hear this rumor----it is linked to other rumors circulating.
This original rumor spawned from Candace Owens who had been trying to convert Kirk to the RCC in past years, but who was fired from TPUSA a couple years ago for her fiery public comments.
