When we as women succumb to low or toxic standards of being a woman in today's society, it becomes harder for men to justify the work it takes to become good protectors, providers, faithful husbands, and reliable men of God.

I personally see a lot of "hot mess Mom" culture, a push to accept obesity as healthy, and a sort of unspoken rule that it is harmful for a husband to expect or desire anything from his wife that she doesn't like. Can women expect men to do things they don't like, though? Absolutely.

Men begin to see no reward in marrying. Many just see it as gauranteeing the death of respect, fun, and intimacy with a woman who has more motivation to grow dissatisfied, divorce, and take the kids with half the wealth, then to invest and stay loyal through challenges.

Although men should seek to please God in any case, why should women hinder them? When we are excellent and Godly women, it is an inspiration and it affects men's sense of motivation greatly and it's really rewarding to experience that.

but by the time they hit forty or fifty , no longer see thirty as old .
fear not the age . Many used to get upset when folks said they looked thirty

YES HE DO SISTER . i see every day as just one day closer to BEING FOREVER HOME WITH HE WHO SAVED US .
No one who lives to be old is going to not have the effects of aging to some degree .
BUT what do it matter . IT was never gonna last anyway sister . WHAT DOES LAST IS TRUTH
what does last forever is ETERNAL LIFE . that LIFE IS FOUND ONLY and i mean ONLY IN JESUS THE CHRIST .
But sister its getting real bad as of late . Its getting very hard to convince
people that one must actually FIRST believe ON JESUS THE CHRIST .
and sister when i said people , I MEANT THE CHURCH SISTER .
they rail on me as being a hater cause i say the other relgions are in danger and do not know or serve GOD

The woman of Proverbs 31 is being praised. But her way of life is insulted today. In the United States and other western nations, feminism's mission to get women focused away from homes has been a big success.

From the late 1800s first wave of the movement till now, feminism was never simply about equal rights for men and women. Many leading feminists say that the option for women to be homemakers ought not to be an option at all in order for progress to happen.

How many "leading feminists" are in the world? How many are the "many" that are saying this? From reading this thread in its entirety, I've seen you quote ONE feminist. That's hardly "many".

Getting women away from homes is the true goal along with getting rid of patriarchy. No father or husband rule.

I'm open to hearing what you believe feminism is specifically.

I try to read feminist writing and study the movement but I can always learn more.

I consider feminist leaders like Mary Wollenstonecraft, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Betty Friedan, Simone de Beauvoir, belle.hooks and others to all be key leaders of the movement.

I don't mind reading more quotes by them but I feel pretty confident that the movement is mostly antagonistic towards women being homemakers who depend financially on their husbands. I see nothing to combat that.

Still, feel free to share. I am open to dialogue on this.

This is a good question. I would start by comparing the difference in mothers who choose to stay at home vs work full time as mothers since the second wave in the 1960's. I think the difference is directly due to the mainstream acceptance of feminist ideas. I can get the actual numbers a bit later when Im not busy.
