I'm always trying to make stuff happen, often running ahead of God. It feels like if I don't do it, then Ill be a useless do-nothing forever.
Almost like Cain, I come up with what I want to do to serve God and not what He wants.
I'm afraid He won't reveal anything for me to do. I'm afraid to wait, afraid to be still.
Today was my last day as a volunteer at the pregnancy center. Im going to live on the road with my husband, so we won't have a place for awhile. Just feeling displaced from my community, role as volunteer, role as homemaker, and find that I want to come up with a project without God's lead.
Please pray that I trust God more and that I either get instructions or get better at waiting on His opportunities on His timeline.
What DOES God “want” you TO DO?
TWO THINGS...
1) Work......2) Service......
1) WORK
What “work” ? BELIEVE in your natural spirit.
What “is” your natural spirit?
A mans “natural spirit” IS a mans “
natural truth in his natural Heart”.
(Remembering, a mans “true thoughts in his heart”, can differer broadly from a mans “thoughts in his Carnal MIND”.
A mans Carnal Mind, thinks LOGICALLY. Weighs what he believes, between THIS and THAT, of what makes Logical sense.
Does it MAKE Logical Sense to a Carnal Mind, to BELIEVE, what you can NOT, hear or see? Off hand, no.
Does it MAKE Sense to a logical Mind, TO SEE the WORLD, the cosmos; TO HEAR the Wind, TO FEEL the Wind and WONDER, the origin of such Works? Yes.
And there is WHERE LOGICAL carnal sense, does not have a LOGICAL answer. Something from Nothing, does not make sense, but YET YOU SEE, HEAR, FEEL
the RESULTS of Works of something.
ONE THING repeatedly CLAIMS to BE the Creator and Maker of the THINGS, you can See, Hear, Feel...
And that is where the Belief in a mans “natural spirit” is manifested.
What is “your natural spirit, in your natural heart BELIEVE” ?
He who solely CLAIMS to Have CREATED and MADE, (or NOT), all you see, hear, feel? )
Thus THE “work”, God wants FROM YOU...IS to BELIEVE in your natural spirit, in your natural heart.....HE is the Creator and Maker....OF all you see, hear, feel.
John 6:
[
28] Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that
we might work the works of God?
[
29] Jesus answered and said unto them,
This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
(We are given “a gift of FAITH”, for HEARING the word of God. Hear/read the Word of God, 5 minutes, once a year, every day, whatever one chooses. Measures of FAITH are given, in direct relationship to the measures of a man Hearing. Hear a little, Receive a little faith. Hear a lot, receive a lot of Faith.)
IOW, Receiving the gift of FAITH, IS in direct relation to the mans Effort to HEAR his Word.
AND...by Gods OWN Word, an itty bitty FAITH (measured in comparison) to an itty bitty mustard seed, IS all that is necessary, TO BELIEVE in ones “natural spirit”, God IS the creator and maker of all things.)
James 2:
[
20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that
faith without works is dead?
What does James mean?
God gives FAITH, FOR Hearing.
The
WORKS, is a man BELIEVING, what he hears....or not.
IF a man BELIEVES what he hears.....man has accomplished the WORK Gods desires.
IF a man HEARS (he receives Faith)...but IF he DOES NOT BELIEVE what he HEARS....there IS NO WORK of that man....
IOW, the Faith he received FOR Hearing.....IS Fruitless, DEAD, useless.
A mans WORK, IS believing IN Jesus whom God Sent...
And by Believing God Sent JESUS, by default, the man ALSO Believes IN God Himself.
2) SERVICE
What is SERVICE?
Service IS what you DO with a Works. (BELIEF).
...Say you GO to a church “service”. What does that mean?
Do you EXPECT, to participate, see, hear, observe, THE “RESULTS” of WORKS (BELIEF) of... clerics, other persons, yourself...?
...
Being IN (gathered together) what God called HIS HOUSE, a house of Prayer.
SEE..(Isa 56:7) Gods LIKE.
SEE..(Luke 19:46) Gods LIKE...and DISAPPOINTMENT.
What IS a mans “PERSONAL” SERVICE?
(Meaning
WHAT can an INDIVIDUAL man:
“DO with His Works ie BELIEF”?)
A mans INDIVIDUAL PERSONAL SERVICE, IS...
CONFESSION OF HIS WORKS (BELIEF).
Now...FOR example; IF you Love your Husband.
WHO do you Believe YOU should TELL?
Your, mama, neighbor, sister, strangers?
Meaning, that may be something to share with others...
However, the ONE you LOVE, is the ONE to call on AND TELL your BELIEF.
And WHAT are you DOING when you CONFESS, TO THE ONE MAN, ONE HUSBAND you LOVE?
He IS “exclusive” to you? OR he IS “AS ALL other men” ?
By the Same token, IF YOUR Works of Belief, ARE Belief IN the Lord God...YOUR “personal SERVICE”, is to CALL ON the Lord, JESUS’ NAME, and TELL Him Personally......
OF YOUR
CONFESSION OF HEARTFUL BELIEF IN HIM and GOD.
THAT SIMPLE;
1) WORKS....Heartful BELIEF.
2) SERVICE..CONFESSION of BELIEF.
Rom 12:
[
1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your
reasonable service.
CONFESSION (service) of BELIEF (belief) TO the Lord ... IS a Confession OF “EXCLUSIVENESS”.... (No OTHER lords, No OTHER gods)
Inasmuch as you exclusively give your love and your body TO your Husband.......SO ALSO do you give your LOVE and your BODY TO the Lord God Almighty.
(And IF your LOVE be TRUE, your husband accepts your love and takes your body unto Himself.)
(And IF your LOVE to TRUE, the Lord God accepts your love and takes your body unto Himself.)... kills the natural body, the natural truth in the natural heart and births you a new spirit, a new body.....
spiritual, as God IS Spirit.
1 Cor 15:
[
36] Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
The OLD Natural must die, BEFORE the NEW Spiritual can become Born.
OLD...natural creature.
NEW..spiritual creature.
Body...dies, Raised Glorified (sinless) (1 Cor 15: 42,43,44)
Spirit..born again. (Gods Seed 1 John 3:9)
Soul...restored. Saved, and Restored (Pss23:3)
