There is obviously one objective truth about Christianity and that is God sent His Son Jesus Christ to come and save the world from its sin. Which He did do 2000 years ago on the cross, dying a death that He did not deserve in any way for any reason. Being sinless He paid for all of mankind’s sin; past; present and future. Being buried and placed into the tomb; for three days (He went to Hell/Sheol/Hades for three days and even went to preach to the spirits that were reserved back in Noah’s day in the prison part of Sheol) then was resurrected again by God on the third day. Then God through Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in the apostles and all who would believe from then on in the book of acts.

Then there comes the subjectivity.

What will we do with our lives, and what do we assume of the others books like revelation for example; how do we interpret and how do we form our theology, and what we will do with our lives with living in faith which justifies us with God our Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ, that we may have peace with God.

Have you ever thought about any of these things before?

If you have what do you think are the benefits of subjective Christianity?

What would you consider if someone said hey; it’s between you and God alone and no one else what you do with your life, you can either seek Him or not seek him; the choice is yours?

What are your thoughts about going to the Bible alone?

What do you think about God governing over your life by and through the spirit that is given that lives with in the believers of faith?

What do think about these things out of pure generally curious curiosity?

I have thought about these things.

The mind becomes less subjective as it is renewed according to the knowledge of our Creator.

The Bible itself is our one objective source. If our minds conform to it's teachings, we will not be misled by stray ideas. We do/think the parts we know, and as we do that, we will increase in understanding and conformity to Christ.

And with that comes all the rest, how to understand the Revelation, what I should do with my day, my life, my money, all the rest.

Much love!

Thank you for your thoughts. That would tend to happen if a person goes to the bible alone and read it what it has to say in context. A person will be renewed by the spirit through faith. There are many different things still however many people will subjectively believe on this or that either way, but what is one thing we can still be in the same mind about? The mind of Christ and what He had presented. To love God with all our heart, mind, and soul, and to love others by and through the spirit by what it provides for us in our lives according to (Galatians 5:22-25), and even (1 Corinthians 13:1-10 ?).

Thank you for your comment Marks.

Very thoroughly and repeatedly.
If you have what do you think are the benefits of subjective Christianity?
“Benifits” is a really weird word here, and hence I find it really awkward to try to address this directly.

I do find that being aware of how well known / certain something is to you individually or to a collective is just good scholarship. We each know certain things better than others: some are basic fundamental facts, other questions realivoly unknown. Likewise with being aware how important each docterine is to you: that’s just good scholarship.

What would you consider if someone said hey; it’s between you and God alone and no one else what you do with your life, you can either seek Him or not seek him; the choice is yours?
There is a middle ground here balancing the two in how we deal with our fellow man. Going with just one side (either side) can lead to some dark fanatical stuff.
What are your thoughts about going to the Bible alone?

I’m not a sola scriptura person.

Obviously that’s super important.

Thank you for your thoughts Jane_Doe22: I am not a sola scriptura person either; though do believe that the bible can help by reading and seeking God the spirit that lives with-in us. :)

My apologies for the earlier typo. I meant to say that you have the same old tone. And I totally of course disagree.

This would generally be true. Each person is directly accountable to God.

They already have a pope by the name of Mitt Romney.

Note: a "Mormon" bishop is the leader of a local congregation (~200 active people). It's an unpaid position that someone holds for ~5 years and then the mantle passes on to somebody else. During that time, they're serving as a leader, but different congregation members give the sermons each week, are in charge of different things, etc.

Example: Bob Brown professionally is an optometrist. He also served unpaid as the local bishop of my congregation from 2011 to 2016. After that time he then served a year as an assistant nursery teacher.
