It truly saddens me as a Christian, and an American that our family entertainment time is interrupted by celebrities (Beyonce) dressed as if they were in a strip club, moving her body in sexual ways, she seemed demonic!

I was watching the game with children, ages 4 to 13, how embarrassing as a women it was for me, and I could tell the older children were uncomfortable about it as well....my sister, (there mother), did a great job of explaining to them the moral sin of such a display....but it saddens me to think of all the children that do not have parents that will teach them of God, and living holy for Him.

I prayed for Beyonce last night, and I pray for America.

Even the First Lady herself took the time to tweet express just how proud she was for Beyoncé , who is not only an ardent Obama supporter, but also a friend of the first family. "Watching the #SuperBowl with family & friends. @Beyonce was phenomenal!" Michelle Obama tweeted. "I am so proud of her!"

......

The First Lady approves of such sinful behavior, she calls herself a Christian?

It was sickening. It made me sad that that is what is considered entertainment in this country. We were watching at a Super Bowl party at church for the teen youth group. The youth pastor covered the lens on the projection tv. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Please Lord Jesus come.

It all seemed pretty normal to me? Beyonce was in true form, lots of legs and dancing is par-for-the-course. Janet Jackson's Super Bowl mishap was R rated, but when you watch a show by Beyonce, Madona, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, etc, you pretty much expect a suggestive and revealing performance. None of them are renown for their modesty. :)

Maybe it's just me but since I got saved my spirit is offended by in your face partial nudity with women girating in front of children and broadcast to 200 countries.

...not in our country ;) but alas we do have the All Blacks to contend with. Family entertainment vs a permissive society. Where do we draw the line?

I think the bigger question is ...... why are we watching or even caring about the Superbowl in the first place.

same as hockey , soccer etc ....... they are no longer what we could call "sports" ...... they are million dollar players owned by billion dollar businessmen .... while trying to see who can do the most steroids without getting caught.

Even the Olympics have become corrupt and a cheaters paradise.

My wife and I refuse to watch or otherwise participate in SuperBowl this year. The entire event has sunk into the fetid swamp of hedonistic pleasure.

Everyone eagerly awaits two things; the outcome of the game and the real possibility of a wardrobe malfunction.

Is it sexual commercialism or an exhibition of athletic prowess? The line has been crossed so many times that it no longer exists.

but that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...
