What "new" truth are you sharing?the truth about the survival ideas that is prepared for the time ahead [just like i put wood in the shed in the summer for the winter that comes,it only thinking ahead a little] what denialyou tell me? If you want to worry about the futureno i do not worry[preparing is not worry, worry about the futureno. You you want to go hide somewhere, its not about hidding its about stepping to the side from all the panic go hidedah. I have work to do.why do you work can you tell me honestly.

"modify the house I am in. I rent so the modifications will have to be Okayed by my land lord."Here's 2 cents more! NEVER put your own money into someone elses home! :naughty: It's someone else's home! In times of trouble, they can raise your rent so high that you will have to move. You cannot take anything made permanent with you! He will not care what improvements you have made and he is NOT your friend! It's business, strictly, the bottom line. That's why he has a rental. My family was in realistate for over 40 yrs. and I am very familiar with renters and landlords relationships. Sorry but that's the facts. A person will tell you anything if it will benefit themselves and they have no scruples. Buy your own house! That way you will know that your payment won't increase. Oh, never, never get an ARM. Or buy the land and bring up to code and move in. You'll own it and that's the best investment.

Thank you, I have already considered that but I do know it is a bad idea to fix up the rental you are living in that belongs to another. The modifications I was thinking of would not be permanant so it would not be a problem. I do intend to buy my own house within the next year or two, this coming year will determine that. As for the land I am looking at I am seriously considering it and can have it payed off within 2 years.

you can start a handy service in your area, man the wood and stuff you will see and be able to recycle is unbelievable ,but soon there will be lots of competition and people will learn to keep and reuse what they have.as for now there is so much stuff our there that can be stored proper and use.
