If you know your scriptures you would know the prophecy in Genesis 15:16 where God told Abraham that some of his descendants would return to the land where he was living in their own strength and that they would do so without any help from God.

You would also know this prophetic word: -

Genesis 28:13-15: - 13 And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: "I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the earth on which you lie I will give this entity to your descendants. 14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; they shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families inhabiting My fertile soil shall be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go and will bring you back to my fertile soil; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you."

You are adding your conjecture to the scriptures:

prophecy in Genesis 15:16 where God told Abraham that some of his descendants would return to the land where he was living in their own strength and that they would do so without any help from God.

That is not what that verse 16 says.

There is no connection between verse 16 and verses13-14 as you are suggesting. The personal prophecy for Abraham separates the prophecy in verses 13-14 from the distant prophecy in verse 16.

In one sense you are right, but the described Land in Genesis 15:17-21 is the land that they would possess over many years from the time that they crossed the River Jordan up and until the time of King Solomon's death with all of the described land being take from them except for the Land of Canaan which was promised to Abraham in Genesis 17:1-8: -

This possession of the land of Canaan last from just after Solomon's death up and until 70 AD when Jerusalem was ransacked and the remaining Israelites were sold as slaves and scattered to the four corners of the earth.

The United States and Iran engaged in some of the most intense fighting overnight since all-out hostilities in the ongoing US‑Israeli war on Iran were halted with a Pakistan‑mediated temporary ceasefire on April 8.

A comprehensive peace agreement remains elusive as Iran and the US have exchanged a series of proposals and counterproposals in the weeks since that pause. After a string of smaller escalations, however, the US struck targets in Iran following the downing of a US Apache helicopter close to the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, and Iran retaliated by hitting US military bases in the Gulf.


The US military said it targeted communications and radar facilities. Iranian officials, however, said civilian infrastructure was also damaged, including two water reservoirs.

If correct, this is the first reported strike on civilian infrastructure in Iran in several weeks, but it comes at a time when Iran is facing a severe water shortage.
