Psalm 34:8 (NASB)
Taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

This invitation to taste and see, is, in other words, an invitation to come and prove by experience the truth, that the Lord is good...
For the heart tasting by experience the truth of God, is a promise to the heart that would, or in other words a promise to experience, and understand that experience, by experience.... For it is when one experiences something, it is then that that something becomes part of ones very life, as it will not be denied...
Therefore the invitation to taste and see of the Lord is the highest of invitations, the deepest of invitations... This in truth is the answer to all of the longings of the human heart, they are all answered in this, come let us taste and see that the Lord He is good...
For the human heart to taste and see that its Creator is good, is such a place of refuge for that heart, it goes to the very center of life, and even deeper still, with a understanding that answers all..
For when the faith of the heart has learned how to grab onto God by faith, that heart most assuredly will have all of God that heart would taste and see... Then is that heart so very blessed, as it has taken refuge in the love of God towards itself... And it has tasted and seen that the Lord He is so very good, and it rejoices in that goodness...
And as it rejoices in that goodness, does it taste and see the deeper, and then it will glory alone in the cross of Christ, by which, it was freed, to taste and see...
