I believed a long while back that to really live the victorious Christian life..that the way of thanksgiving and praise MUST become second nature to us!

( as Paul and Silas while chained in a dark damp prison cell)

Sadly I don't always get this victory quickly , but I usually get there in the end :)
One of my favourite re-read books is " From Prison to Praise " by Merlin Caruthers . I should re-read it once a year to keep me reminded...

I am so thankful to God that He makes me and shares the wonder known as life with me.
I am so thankful to God that He hates sins for I hate sins a lot, too.

We can all always thank God for what he has done.

It may be hard, we may not all like Job say " The Lord has given. The Lord has taken away Blessed be the name of the Lord."

But we are told to present our requests with thanks giving to the Lord.
A spiritual discipline learn and sing that old old song.
Count your blessings, name them one by one and it will surprise you to see what the Lord has done.
