My son-in-law is a bee keeper, and the other week he had to go to a house because of a bee hive that had been built under a veranda of a house near what looks like was their original laundry for the house.
He told me that he retrieved around 75 kilos of honey from this hive.
It took a couple of days to transfer the bees into his boxes after he had placed the queen bee into his hive box.
The hive of bees had been there for a number of years.

He is a bee keeper and does not run a dairy. LOL
Ouch! I'm not allergic myself but I've been stung before and I would still run in the other direction lol
Yeah, but I mean I know that bees are good for environment but that's a LOT!!

Somehow... I think I saw this.... Amazingly the guy caught the QUEEN right off the bat and so all he had to do was put her in the box on his truck and let the bees come... It was quite fascinating... I have no idea where I watched it but it wasn't that long ago.
