The above are 3 definitions for the english word "attribute" I am Oscar Goinheix and I like to believe is that some of my attributes are to be inteligent, honest and respectfull. If it hapens that for any reason, life change my attributes and I become not inteligent, not honest and/or not respectfull; even I loose my attributes I will continue to be Oscar Goinheix. My attributes are a consecuence of me being me; but I am not the result of my attributes. I am me becaiuse I am Oscar Goinheix, not for being inteligent, honets and respectfull. Even if some other person hapens to have the same attributes he will not be me but a different person.


Understanding the above; and based on the Bible...wich attributes we can say that God has?

Out of questions God is Holy; and I asume all of us understand the meaning. Being holy makes Him to be apart and dont have any contact of any evil or sin. Being Holy is one of the God attributes; but my questions are two:
1) Is it being holy an exclusive attribute of God or is it possible for some body or something else tot be holy and yet not be God? I repeat that God is Holy and it is clearly and accepted for all of us...but..is it an atribute of him alone? The Sanctuary and the Temple have a Holy place. If I am not confuse the Priest where Holy. And Peter is encouraging us to be Holy. Apparently to be Holy is a divine atribute, and aparently he has the capacity of making something and somebody else holy as he is. I dont know of anything or anybody being holy independently of God. God is Holy but it is possible for him to transfer that atribute to some else. Being holy dont make me God, but being God means to be Holy.

2) The second question is if despite my last sentece (being God means to be Holy) is it possible for God to cease being Holy and remaing being God? Is being Holy an atribute without wich God can not be God? Is it escencial for God to be Holy in order to be God? Jesus is God, we all know that. Jesus proclaimed to be God but the Jew could not understand nhow it was possible for God (Jesus) have a close contact with sinners. So the question of the Jew is nmy question: Can God have contact with evil and sin (to cease being holy)? The same question have it Satan. Satan was hoping that at the cross, God (Jesus) loaded with all our sins will cease to be God. But at the cross, with all ours sins over Him, God (Jesus) didnt cease to be God.

Aloude one more example: The newest country in the World is South Sudan. Its attributes can be its name, its flag, its map and borders, its capital city. What if South Sudan change its name as Dahomey become Bennin? Waht if it chage its flag as South Africa did? What if South Sudan international borders move as so many other countries have exprienced? What if South Sudan change of capoital city as Brasil move it from Rio to Brasilia? Will South Sudan cease to be South Sudan.

Then, this thread is to identify all atributes of God and try to stablish wich one is proper of only God and nothing elase; and wich is escential for God to be God.
