16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16.

Oh' the blood of Jesus! That eternal blood that washed away every sin committed, or would be committed from the beginning of creation. From the utter most, to the gutter most. Every sin that was to take place in creation, would be washed away by that external cleansing blood of Jesus Christ! The lamb of God!

That is the power of the cross. It may not seem as such to us. But to God Almighty and His Holiness - it will mean something - it will mean everything.

That cannot be taken lightly. We need to look at a major point of Calvary. We have external life now and should be living so. How is that lived? We are not taken up with death, we dont get involved in the world and all of it's affairs, we live in peace and joy of the knowledge you have external life now, and it can be lived now. This is not heaven but it don't matter you have eternal life now. We are not caught by religion and all the frivolous doctrines of man - we live eternally.

That cannot be taken from you - it is not something you go in and out of - here one day and gone the next - it is not something you buy and sell - you do not trade one good idea for another - you have eternity now and free to live it!

You will not need permission from another to live eternity. Your written permission has already been given and is offered to those that will. Whosoever will! It is life and it is the only life there is. No other life can be found written in scripture. Oh' the blood of Jesus!

@soul man Seems that the depths of the Gospel are encapsulated in that great, memorable verse from John 3.....

It’s amazing how the death of Christ blood for all people in the world and justified all people to be free of sin. There was only one sin that still remained it seems that would be the sin of unbelief. The one that causes a person to be separated from God. Though my belief sees all of Hell and Death, and Satan being done away with. I don’t believe God even stops calling to people even after this life. That’s conjecture but I really believe God desires still even so unbelievers to come to the knowledge and truth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

There is a fountain filled with the blood
Drawn from Immanuel's veins;
And the sinner, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains..
--
Ever since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die..
--
From song/hymn lyrics:
'There is a fountain filled with blood'
