There is one way to salvation over sin and the world...through Christ. There is only one way to the Father. But you are inventing a scheme that goes directly against the many verses that show God will have mercy on MORE than just His house.
You have to read with an open mind and heart...through the eyes of faith, not religious belief. God has made the bible to expose such as those who have no faith.
You are reading but not comprehending.
Among the Jews and His people yes. There is a great lack of faith among believers. This is not a contradiction in terms.
The Israelites in the wilderness believed in God. They had sworn that they would obey the Lord. But God rejected them for a lack of faith. God was not well pleased with them. He swore in His wrath that they would not enter His rest.
And the same goes for us. Many believers will be cast away from God's presence forever. Have you not read the bible? What of those who cry out Lord Lord....and Jesus rejects them because they were LAWLESS. Did they not expect that Jesus would receive them??
So your argument is turned on its head.
You have to believe Jesus...believe His words...obey His commandments otherwise you will be rejected as lawless. You put no emphasis on obedience to Christ so you are fully outside the faith.
Eternal life is a KIND of life to be entered into right now. Whoever is in Christ HAS eternal life right now.
Your reading comprehension skills are very low. If someone is judged by their works...as you suggest... that doesn't mean they are condemned. That means that those who did good works are written in the book...and those whose works were evil are absent from the book.
The last verse lays out the 4 eternal destinies for you.
You have to discern between the the righteous and the wicked (The Book of Life) and between Him that serves God and His that serves Him not (Lamb's book of life)
You are NOT discerning this at all. When a person discerns between the destinies of mankind THEN he can behave in a way that qualifies him/her for the book of remembrance. Just read without the blinders on.
You have gone down a religious rabbit hole here based on unbelief. You need to back up and start again.
I have no desire to “comprehend” your mess of false teachings as though accepting it were some mark of spiritual understanding. I understand what you are claiming. I reject it because the passages you quote do not teach it. Your imagination is not revelation, and insulting my reading comprehension will not turn your inventions into Scripture.
You claim John 3:18 applies only “among the Jews and His people.” Read the context. John 3:16 says “the world” and “whosoever believeth.” Verse 18 says, “He that believeth not is condemned already.” Where does Jesus exempt unbelieving Gentiles from that statement? You invented that exception because His words contradict your system. God’s mercy extends beyond Israel, but that does not establish salvation apart from Christ through good works.
Your appeal to Israel’s unbelief proves nothing against my position. Hebrews 3:19 says, “So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.” How does judgment for unbelief establish your claim that unbelievers can receive salvation through their works? It does not. Neither does Matthew 7. Jesus says, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:23). Their profession and impressive religious works did not establish that they belonged to Him.
Then you accuse me of putting no emphasis on obedience and declare me “fully outside the faith.” That is a false accusation, not an argument. Christians must obey Christ. Grace teaches us to deny “ungodliness and worldly lusts” and live righteously (Titus 2:11–12). Ephesians 2:10 says believers are “created in Christ Jesus unto good works.” But the preceding verses say salvation is “not of works, lest any man should boast.” Obedience matters. It does not become an alternative means of salvation for unbelievers.
Yes, believers have eternal life now. Nobody disputed that. But you avoided the other half of the verse: “He that hath not the Son of God hath not life” (1 John 5:12). Calling eternal life a “KIND of life” does not erase that statement or provide another route for people without the Son.
Your argument about Revelation 20 also answers something I never said. Being judged according to works does not, by itself, mean everyone judged is condemned. But neither does it mean good works put someone’s name in the Book of Life.
The passage never says that. You supplied that explanation yourself. Revelation 20:15 states the consequence of not being found in the book. It does not teach that unbelievers earn entry into it through good deeds. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us” (Titus 3:5).
And Malachi 3:18 does not “lay out” four eternal destinies. It says, “Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.” Those are corresponding descriptions of the contrast between righteousness and wickedness. The verse assigns neither pair to a different book. You inserted “The Book of Life” and “Lamb’s book of life” into your explanation because those words are absent from the passage.
Your claim that understanding your categories qualifies someone for the Book of Remembrance is another invention. Malachi 3:16 identifies those people as those who “feared the LORD” and “thought upon his name.” It never says they qualified by accepting your scheme of eternal destinies. You are making agreement with your teaching a spiritual qualification God never gave.
You also left the remaining objections unanswered. Paul still says the man whose work burns “shall be saved” (1 Corinthians 3:15). He still calls the believers at Corinth saints (1 Corinthians 1:2). Hebrews 6:9 still describes “things that accompany salvation,” not service that purchases a lesser salvation for people who cannot become saints. Dismissing those objections as a “religious rabbit hole” does nothing to answer them.
An open heart toward God does not require an open door to false doctrine. Scripture commands, “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Your teaching fails that test. Stop blaming other people’s lack of faith for your lack of biblical support. Repent of teaching your imagination as God’s truth.
